I waited for a long time to purchase this Tablet. When it was first released, the price was too high. I wish Google would have stuck with product line and just made improvements with each new version. I still use it every other day because it's still a snappy device to use.

Coming from a Pixelbook I was a little skeptical if I would like this device longterm. More than a couple weeks in and I don't miss the Pixelbook at all. I actually prefer. A nice upgrade in my opinion. Good spec, excellent hardware, and an awesome screen. What more could you want out of a Chrome OS device!

I needed to replace an higher end Asus Android Tablet I purchased about 5 years ago. Asus doesn't have as high quality of an android tablet available at this point, though they still make a few nice items. I decided to try something totally different. When I saw the bundle special and sale on this item (including the free keyboard and pen) I decided to take a plunge. I had heard that some of the apps that are intended for true Android platforms (not Chrome) can also be used fairly successfully on Chrome Books (or tablets) I decided to see what I may be missing. I kept this for about 5 days and realized I really liked the whole bundle. However, 2 apps I routinely use on my android phone and previously on my tablet worked, but with some odd issues. I spoke with my local Best Buy store and their tech experts explained that the mobile intentions of some of the apps sometimes failed to function normally in the Chrome OS environment. Disappointed, I returned this product. I really liked this, and found Google's Slate much sleeker than I expected. I hope they rework this item and provide a more cost-effective option with improved functionality for ALL apps, even those built for a phone or Android tablet.

After reading the initial reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to try the Slate or not but I'm glad I did. It's fast and I like that I can put regular Android apps on it and still have the ability to use it as a Chromebook. I bought a brydge keyboard to go with it and it's the perfect setup for me

I've really enjoyed using the Pixel Slate as it allows me to be productive. The only downside I have noticed is that it does get warm (almost hot) while using certain apps.

This is an awesome replacement to my iPad Pro. It can be used to browse internet as a laptop but extremely portable. M3 is powerful enough for my use without glitches.

I love this table. I use this tablet for work and its great, paired with the pen I can get all of my work done if I do not want use my laptop. The screen can get very bright and the keyboard is solid as well. My one gripe, the speaker are just ok, they could be louder, but in the time of wireless headsets; its an easy problem to fix.

I ventured out and bought the Google Pixel Slate 12.3”. I’ve been wanting to try working with a chromebook, but I love my Surface Pro. It’s taking some getting used to not having the. Office suite, but using Google docs has been just as good. Great size to go anywhere and responds very quickly. I made a good choice with this tablet.

Very glad that I bought it when the sale is on. I got the base m3 model with 64gb, and it is more than enough for what I'm using it for. I took advantage of the squid pro deal, and sign up for pro version. The squid software with the included pen, makes the slate an indispensable device for me, e.g. I use it to import pdf, and then use the pen to annotate the document (feels exactly like I print out the pdf, and write on it with pen). Another benefit: the chrome is running on desktop mode, so I can use it to design basic 3d things on tinkercad to be printed. As for 64gb, it's more than sufficient for me. For basic stuff I use, e.g. banking, gmail etc, I saved the bookmark on desktop and make it run on full screen, so it feels like it's external app, but does not take up storage space!

Like the fanless detachable tablet idea although device gets warm in some areas fast but never too hot. Needs more USB Ports since there is no SD card, or audio jack. I used one for charging and the other for USB C to audio. The most annoying flaw is the the need for a surface, just like the Microsoft surface devices, you cant really use this in a small space (airplane), or without a desk.

So at launch, the device stuttered hard. But since the regular updates from chrome, and making sure I got the m3 processor, this thing flies. It's truly all you need to get things done at home or on the go. Big fan of this iteration, just wish the launch wasn't half baked.

The slate as a computer is excellent. I don't experience any lag with videos, apps, and games. As a tablet, it's too big and heavy. It's hard to keep it held up with my hands. If you're looking for a tablet, probably better to get a real tablet and not a Chromebook.

This was a replacement for a Samsung S2 9.7 tablet. This has a larger, brighter screen. Works great. Only one complaint, no SD memory expansion slot. I use an adapter cable with a thumb drive or a Western Digital external drive. Clumsier, but effective.
