Many also praise its design and snappy performance, along with the sharp display. However, some find the watch's size to be too small and the bezels somewhat thick. A few customers also mentioned the price as a potential drawback.

Solid first smartwatch

This is my first smartwatch, and it was included with my Pixel 8 Pro. It's solid all around, but I really don't have much to compare it to. At $350 retail it's quite expensive, but I already can't imagine going back to a normal watch. The battery lasts all day every day, wearing it from when I go to bed to when I get home from work. The display is crisp, and the storage is more than adequate. Not much else to ask for. If you work in a hands on industry like I do, I'd highly recommend a protective cover or case. The glass is edge to edge, and rounded, so it would be easy to crack, and hard to replace.

though
This is my first smart watch and I love it. It does everything I wanted (sleep monitoring, calendar access, specific alerts, etc.). It even does stuff I didn't know I needed. The customization options are decent.
I got an open box version of the previous model to save money. Unfortunately I ended up not saving any money at all, as this one specific watch was probably returned because of its battery issues.
The first week, the battery seemed really good. Sometimes I could go 30+ hours without having to charge, and it does charge quickly.
Unfortunately it drastically tapered off into an inconsistent but increasingly bad battery life. Sometimes it holds a charge 8-10 hours, sometimes it would be dead after 3 hours.
It feels weird to defend a billion dollar corporation but this actually isn't a result of negligence or scamming on Best Buy's part. The watch and its components looked brand new and it probably worked good enough when they tested it.
I tried every possible troubleshooting technique I could find but nothing fixed it. Serious battery issues were reported a year ago but updates apparently fixed that.
And since it didn't manifest and get really bad until 2ish weeks in, I didn't think I could exchange it. It was well after the 15 day window after all.
That was what I had to do though, since Google was no help. I took it to the Princeton, NJ Best Buy.
I expected an interrogation and a huge hassle repeating the same troubleshooting I'd tried over and over again. Thankfully the sales associate didn't wasn't required to do any of that.
I had the Best Buy Plus membership thing because that extends the return period to 60 days. I hated to drop even more money on a luxury I only bought because of the price discount but I ended up exchanging it for a new one. Here's hoping.

I have had this watch for about a month and I am not really disappointed with it. There are lots of features from Fitbit on the watch, which allow for lots of use. I still have not used them all or checked them out. I have a Google Pixel Phone, which allows compatibility and ease of use to be higher. However, it works good with any Android phone. The only problem I have with it is the price. There are other watches out there of similar brands that are much nicer but for the same price. Otherwise, I love it.

Amazing!! This watch is worth all your money if you can grab it on sale. For people who doesn't have a big wrist or don't mind wearing a smaller size watches would absolutely love it. Remember, it only come in one size unlike Pixelwatch 3. Great battery, functionality. I would call this the best android watch on the market. FYI, I returned the regular version and bought the LTE version Which was on sale for the memorial Day!!

Got this for my 85 years young dad. He loves it! He needed a new watch and was looking at regular ones and I suggested he get a smart watch. He loved the idea so I got him this one for Father’s Day and he got it early.
It was very easy to set up, looks great and intuitive to use. His favorite part is getting his texts on it so he doesn’t have to go to another room and get his phone when he’s in the house, lol.

I recently received the Google Pixel Watch 2 as a free gift when I purchased the Pixel 8 Pro during a promotional offer, and it has quickly become an integral part of my daily life. Here's my experience with this smartwatch:
Battery Life: The battery life on the Pixel Watch 2 is impressive. It easily lasts a full day, even with heavy usage. I appreciate not having to constantly worry about recharging it throughout the day.
Design: The design is sleek and minimal, which complements the aesthetics of my Pixel 8 Pro. However, one aspect that I find somewhat inconvenient is the pin connector for charging. It takes a bit of getting used to, and I would have preferred a more user-friendly charging method.
Screen Protector: One minor drawback is the difficulty in finding a suitable screen protector. While the watch's display seems to be robust, an added layer of protection is always a good idea, and I wish it was easier to find screen protectors designed specifically for this model.
Fitness Tracking: The fitness tracking capabilities of the Pixel Watch 2 are a standout feature. It accurately records my steps and helps me stay on top of my fitness goals. The watch seamlessly integrates with my Google Fit app, providing a comprehensive overview of my daily activity.
Overall Impression: Despite the pin connector and the screen protector issue, the Google Pixel Watch 2 has been an excellent addition to my tech collection. It's a reliable companion that keeps me connected and on track throughout the day. The seamless integration with my Pixel 8 Pro and the fitness tracking features make it a valuable and functional accessory. I look forward to exploring more of its capabilities and seeing how it continues to enhance my daily routine.

I had the Pixel watch 1 and I upgraded to Pixel watch 2 with Pixel 8 pro bundle. And this is the best upgrade I have made so far in wearables. Major changes being, battery life, it easily runs for the day without using it for sports or other activities. Other than the battery, it's much faster. Call quality is significantly improved, however, still has a room for improvement but it solves the purpose. Overall it is worth the spend.

I had a Versa Lite 2 that worked well for a couple of years. I finally broke the last replacement band, and they did not have any more that I could find.
The Google Pixel 2 is definitely an upgrade from the Versa. It does all I need it to do and somethings that I am not sure I need it too.
Either way. It looks and fits nicely. I had my trial run with it out in the desert of Palm Springs for a week this month. Although, I changed wrist daily to not get a sunline on. it seemed light and stayed cool in the heat. I walked a tremendous amount of miles for an old fat man in 100 plus temperatures.
The watch looks good and performs well. I like that I can answer the phone without digging mine out. According to my wife I sound clearer over the watch than when I have the phone on speaker. So, I guess that is an improvement too.
It did seem that the battery only last about a day and a half or so. Had to keep an eye on that. There were some reviews that it charged slowly but I did not notice that.
However, I did usually charge overnight.

great overall, no issues, but to me - no difference with pixel 1 watch to be honest. hazel color - is almost the same as grey!

Great watch and acceptable open box. In the past BB has had some crappy open box items, but this was a good price and condition. Watch works well for my wife and is a great replacement for her Samsung at a fraction of the cost.

This is an overall improvement over its predecessor. It does charge faster as Google claims. If you charge it for 20 to 30 minutes you're going to have a good enough battery for a good part of the day. The battery life is also improved a bit. It would be great if we can get two full days of charge. The looks are the same as the first but that's not a bad thing as it's one of the better looking smartwatchs available.

Its a Great Watch! Though I had to Turn Off location settings to save alot of battery, you can turn location services back on if you need it.
Battery with tweaked settings lasts me all day 8-10 If you tweaked more settings you could probably get more. I love it for my needs and it has media controls and quite a few more useful assistant features that make this device a great buy for the price!

After a couple weeks of wearing it, it has absolutely changed my day-to-day life as I now know exactly how much sleep I'm getting, how absolutely stressed I've been and when to take a breather, being able to see if messages are important enough to pull out my phone or not, and also having a silent alarm that vibrates your wrist to wake you up so I don't wake up my partner. There's a ton more stuff and also a ton of customizability since you can download apps like Facer off the play store and get a ton of other watch faces (I currently have a Pip-Boy watch face that shows a ton of cool stuff like my "stats" and "map"). Also people saying the screen is quite small - it is super easy to read and I personally wouldn't want it any bigger than this. The battery life is great, I charge it once a day for about half an hour (I have it charging while I shower so I can track my sleep later on), never dealt with it getting low while I'm out and about. There's also stuff like a bright flashlight, and being able to open the camera app and control your camera on your Google Pixel remotely from the watch. Super cool!!

This was a gift for my spouse. I used it for a day and it was my first time using a smartwatch. I have since used the Galaxy Watch 6. The Pixel watch looks the sleekest among most smartwatches in the market right now. Pairing with Google Pixel is seamless. You can take calls and the in-built speaker and mike is decent. All the tracking features you would need although we are not someone who need the absolute most accurate data but use it as more of a reference for how we are doing in general w.r.t health and workouts. If you get it at a discount, it is definitely a good smartwatch especially if you have Pixel phones.

Amazing watch. Battery life is good even with always on display. The charging is also super quick. The watch looks sleek and sexy. It comes with two different size bands so it will most likely fit your wrist. Only thing that I dislike about the watch is the notification feature. You aren't able to only have it on vibrate for notifications. The only option is to have no notifications.
