Best Android phone hands down.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could be better if it's not Verizon branded, but with Best Buy offering $100 gift card and being available when Google still out of stock, not a hard buy at all. The phone is great, battery last much longer than other, camera is awesome, 2nd probably only to Samsung (since I like the punchier color from Samsung). Quality build and feel great on hand. Finger-print reader is fast and quite accurate (meaning not having to try multiple times). Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a few Nexus devices before this. This is the best device I've had yet. Google and HTC did a fine job. Battery life is fantastic. The camera is great. And the screen colors are crisp.

Excellent phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this c to replace my Note 7. I still miss a few things from it but this is really a great phone. Fast working, fingerprint sensor is easier to use and really quick. Great camera and unlimited full resolution storage of photos and video. So far no problems with storage space, have a couple hundred apps. Photos move to Google photos on their own in the background.

Pixel XL
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my Pixel XL a month ago and I say I love it. First of you can get pure android without any bloatware from either provider of manufacturer of your choice. Second of all you can get the most recent version of Android OS in my case is was Oreo as well I was able to get recent update 8.1 pretty fast. I never use big screen. All my previous smart phone had screen size 5". But I found that 5.5" is not that big and you can easily adopt to use it. Highly recomend it to Android fans.

Best Android Phone out there, but no iPhone killer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Putting aside the debate about iOS vs. Android (everyone has their own preference), let's look at this phone from a pure experience perspective. It's clean android, with the latest system and the new google assistant. You can't get that anywhere else yet so if you like to speak to your phone, you'll definitely appreciate the cool new things it can do for you. If you're freaked out by privacy, then this isn't such a good feature! Build quality is high. The fit and finish is definitely polished and the screen is amazing. AMOLED beats the LCD in the iPhone 7 plus for color and saturation, but that's about the only place this phone wins. Things like the buttons, although solid, still have a small amount of 'wobble' to them. iPhone is absolutely precise. No play at all, just a firm press. Fingerprint reader on the back is natural for position when you're holding the phone but if you like to leave it on the desk then waking to see a notification is nowhere near as convenient as just touching a home button on the front of the screen. Photo quality is superb. But so is iPhone so I'm giving them a draw on this one. Resale value will definitely be lower than Apple. As much as you don't want to think about it, we all upgrade our phones regularly, so maximizing what we can get back is defintely important. Overall a great phone, probably the best Android out there and if you love that ecosystem, definitely the closest alternative to the iPhone. If you're still not convinced and you're looking for a phablet that isn't Apple, check out the HP Elite X3 Windows Phone. You may be surprised at how nice that one is!

Works as it should
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Galaxy S5 started self-destructing at the 12-month mark. This phone is such a relief! It works as it should. It fits my large hands well making the fingerprint feature quite useful. It is quick to respond and seems to pull in the weak cell service in my part of town, pretty well. Pictures, as expected, are great. I would have loved to be able to add memory, so the jury is still out on whether 32GB is enough for this phone.

Amazingly Smooth Andriod Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the Pixel XL for few weeks now and am surprised how impressed I've been. The screen has great brightness spectrum, from being good in bright day light to nice and dark for reading at night. Very vivid colors that can be set for a cooler tone if that is your preference. The camera is as good as advertised, great in every test I've put it through. Apps run smoothly and the split screen option is more useful than anticipated. Google assistant is useful in its' infancy and only going to get better with more updates. With most states having hands free driving laws this is an amazingly helpful feature, also the 'Good morning' command before leaving for work has helped me miss traffic issues a few times already. Very pleased with the purchase, just waiting on the Daydream View release to really put the phone to the VR test.

Converted from IOS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this phone. I have been an Apple user from the start and really did not want to convert to the Android system. It was much simplier than I anticipated and definitely a better bang for the buck. The phone itself is super fast, great screen quality and takes awesome pictures! Oh and the call quality is very good too. The size is larger than what I am used to but very manageable. I would definitely recommend!

Pixel XL - I really Like this phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this phone as a replacement to my aging Note 4. I was going to purchase a Note 7, but, well, you know. Anyways, the phone has been great, the battery life is outstanding, the fingerprint scanner works great, and the camera is as good as advertised.

LOVE MY PIXEL
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I purchased my new phone I was leaving Samsung. Prior to this phone I had a Samsung Galaxy. I was nervous leaving what I knew how to use... but I couldn't be happier with my Google Pixel phone. The Verizon sales associate at Best Buy was very helpful answering my questions and letting me know that it wouldn't be very difficult getting familiar with the Gogle pixel and he was right. I love my phone it's super easy to understand and it does not come pre-loaded with a bunch of apps which was really important to me. The widgets are easy to load and I can customize my screens just like the Samsung. It's light and the screen is large and the camera is great. I would definitely recommend this phone!

Fantastic Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome battery life: Never have needed to charge in the middle of the day, despite heavy use. Great camera: even as a photographer I feel much more comfortable not carrying with this. AutoHDR and lack of manual control make me a little uncomfortable, but the results are fantastic so it's hard to complain. VR is fun: Kind of gimmicky, with the exception of a few apps. Gunjack 2 stands head and shoulders above the rest of the store right now, as youtube does for the integrated apps. It is actually a significantly better experience, as even for normal videos, it seats you in a virtual cinema of sorts, complete with optional curved screen. One problem is that it drains battery alarmingly fast and the phone heats up.

Great Phone... Lackluster Looks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I love this phone in every way except one... it basically looks like an iPhone. But past that it works amazingly well. The screen is clear and it is fast. I had to go with the 32GB model because I am impatient and I had already gone through two Note 7s. The space has not been an issue... every once in a while I check the status and see I am hovering around 29GB and then run the clean up tool and I am back to below 20GB of space used. I will say I loved my Note 7 (mine never got even a little warm) but the Pixel XL is really nice.

Solid Phone and Stock Android.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am probably in the minority but I personally don't care for most of the top phones from Samsung and other company's because they all insist on filling their phones with bloatware I don't use and completely redesigning the UI. So it was very important to me to have stock Android as I personally love the design and feel of the stock OS without needless widgets, animations, and nonsense. Unfortunately my options were quite limited when it came to phones with stock Android. However, quite fortunately, the Pixel is a really good choice that I very much enjoy. It is very fast, it has a good camera (good enough for my needs at least), and a great display.

Excellent Battery life, fast responsive phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from a Nexus 6 and Nexus 6p, being a long time android user, the Pixel XL has excellent battery life and a great camera. However I feel it is an incremental upgrade to the nexus 6P, given the high price of entry it is a tough value decision.

Pixel XL
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to turn in my Note 7 due to the exploding issue :( so I figured I'd tryout the new Google Pixel XL until Samsung get's it back on track! I wasn't overly impressed with the simplicity of the look, the Home button on the back took some getting used to. But Now I figured out you can do multiple fingerprint scans so it does matter if you pick it up with my left hand or my right! Can't do that with the Note 7. I am growing to love my Google and have become move excited NOT Having all the Apps on the Phone I REALLY DIDN"T NEED!

A solid Nexus replacement, but still needs work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a few bugs out of the box, but it's worked out for me over the past month. The phone is fast, pictures are great, functionality is great, screen quality ok. Coming from a Nexus 6, and my wife owning a 6p, the PXL is a lot smaller. My two biggest issues are screen size and the speaker. This phone NEEDS front-facing stereo speakers like the Nexus line, and i am having the reported distortion at high volume. I love my phone, but a better alternative with cheaper cost and almost identical specs is the Nexus 6p

Great Phone / Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Typically I'm an early adopter but after retiring I had held on to my S5 for 4.5 yrs. I was ready for something as reliable, faster with more mem, & at a great price. The Pixel XL exceeded all expectations, it's a great phone for all but the hardest hardcore users
