My wife has had many cell phones over the years. She uses it all day for business and needed a phone that was easy to learn how to use, has long battery life, quick charging, and clarity of voice. The Pixel XL was a perfect fit. She could not be happier with the phone, and all of the help from Best Buy in setting it up with three email accounts, transferring the data, and showing her how to use it, She tells everybody about her great experience with the phone and Best Buy.

I was going to buy another Samsung Galaxy since I've had the 3 and the 5 and loved them both. I wasn't in love with the curved screen on the Galaxy 8, so decided to look at other Android options. I decided to give the Google Pixel XL a try and I love it. It's really fast and the learning curve hasn't been too hard since it's another Android phone. The camera is amazing and it has all my favorite features that I had with the Galaxy, swipe texting, voice assistant. And with their promotion, got a Google Home for free.

My wife and I had been using the same Android phones for the last 4.5 years, so it was time to upgrade. I had been shopping around for a new replacement and decided the Google Pixel XL was just the phone for us. We got these phones nearly a month ago and have been nothing but impressed. The camera is top notch, clear and quick. I currently have over 50 tabs open in Google chrome and haven't noticed a bit of slowing. This phone is well put together and the operating system is almost intuitive.

Previous to buying this phone I had a Samsung Note 4 that was my favorite phone to date. I don't regret trading it for the Pixel XL. I like the features of the phone and Google Assistant is great, but my favorite thing is no third party bloatware. I hated all the Samsung app add-ons that I could not get rid of, the Pixel does not have this issue.

I was previously using a Motorola Nexus 6 on Android 7, but the Pixel XL's Nougat OS blows the Nexus out of the water. I can go through 2 days max on my battery (moderate -> heavy browsing, messaging, videos, etc) and the camera is PHENOMENAL. I HIGHLY recommend this phone to anyone. My biggest dislike about the phone is the speaker. It gets a decent amount of "loudness", but its placement isn't helping it either.

So let me start out with this, Yes it misses out on water proofing, and it misses out on wireless charging, but both are not deal breakers for me, especially the wireless charging. So as with all Verizon phones the Pixel and the XL come sim unlocked, before you power on the device take out the Verizon sim and pop in your carrier sim, mine being T-Mobile, it works great, no set up needed. As for the phone if feels great in the hand, has a very fast multitouch fingerprint scanner which never seems to miss, and the Pixel software is outstanding, i would go so far to say that this is Googles iPhone, its what they want, its a bar they have raised and all the others will now need to follow to compete. The display is bright and vibrant, the single firing speaker is likely the best you will hear for a single speaker. If you are considering getting this and dont want to wait for the Google Store to get them back in stock then go ahead and buy the Verizon version, the only diffrence between the two is that the Verizon Verizon is Bootloader locked meaning you can put roms on it, but right now the bootloader can be unlocked and is done so really easily by the kind folks at XDA

In the past, I always purchased Samsung Galaxy phones (both S and Note). However, after their battery debacle with the Galaxy Note 7, I decided to give Google's new Pixel XL a chance. I couldn't be happier with that decision. Because both the software (Android OS) and the hardware (the phone itself) were controlled/designed by Google (without UI adjustments/additions), this phone is incredibly quick, intuitive, and functions better than any phone I've used in the past.

I love this phone, it has been a great phone for me, It has a really good camera that takes fantastic photos. The battery life has also been fantastic I am a heavy phone user and can use it for a whole day and still have 30-40% battery life left at the end of the day. Operating system is fast and responsive and works the way an android phone should. My only complaint is that the stock messenger app does not have a badge notification system

I bought this phone for my wife, and she loves it. I have been able to use it a couple of times and I also like it. The speakers are awesome the screen is great I love the fingerprint scanner on the back , this is also one of the best cameras I've used on the phone. I have a Nexus 6p and the only thing that I like about the 6p over it is that it has front facing speakers.

Pixel XL is a top-notch phone that is a joy to use, it feels like Google is mostly playing catch-up with their competitors rather than innovating a must-have device.

This was my choice between the Moto mod, LG V20 and the Pixel XL. I originally purchased the Motorola mod due to the promo of two free mods with the phone. However after arriving home and playing with the phone in the evening, I discovered it to be extremely smooth and slippery. This caused me to drop the phone several times, on carpet from the couch, and realize that I would not be satisfied with that due to my work environment. So back to the store and home with the Pixel XL. I bought the 32Gb version only because the 128 was not available in store. If you are going to use the Pixel VR, you should definitely try to buy the 128Gb version for storage. Overall the phone is excellent with speed probably being the best point. The Android 7.1 on the Pixel XL isn't bloated down with embedded apps like most phones are. The battery life could be a little more than what I'm experiencing but I've never had a phone recharge as fast as this one does so it's not really an issue. I average about 10 hrs on a charge without turning off apps. I have wifi, Bluetooth, location and location tracking apps constantly on due to being a trucker. The phone does come with the new USB charging connector, so if this is new for you, buy extra cords. The phone does come with two cords but I found the purchase of a long cord was quite useful. The phone does lack on ringtone variety and volume. In the truck, I find I sometimes do not hear the phone ring. Overall, I'm very happy with the Pixel XL

Google has really outdone themselves with this phone. The new 7.1 Nougat is so incredible! The camera is not just "all talk", it really lives up to its name. Battery life is incredible! I can run this all day and apps galore, battery just keeps on lasting. Surprised they only charged what they did for this phone. Even waiting the week to get the XL was well worth it! Keep up the amazing work Google!!!!

Phone is durable, fast, and takes great pictures. Picture quality is excellent and comparable to the iPhone. Only issue is that it doesn't use the usual Android charger. The charger it came with also doesn't have the typical USB end that you could plug into a computer, car, or alternate charging source. So the phone is great but the charger is kind of a bummer.

The packaging is neat, it includes actually two type c usb 3.0 cables and one adapter (so you can transfer all your old phone settings and data connecting the two phones). I was able to setup the phone within less than 10 minutes of receiving it that way (older android phone to this one, I read you could also transfer from an iphone to this one downloading an ios app from google for this purpose). The phone is thin and sleek, a metal unibody and the glass camera cover portion didn't bother me as much as I thought. I must say this is the most quick and snappy android phone I ever used. No classic android lag at all. Its very polished and I'm loving the new Pixel launcher. The screen is gorgeous and I got zero defects. By the way, for anyone wondering, the phone is indeed carrier unlocked. Its a Verizon one, but you can pop in any sim card and it will work. I tried a tmobile one and all worked fine, so If you travel a lot like me, you can pop in a sim card of whatever country you are in (granted it supports the bands in such country). I'll point some pros and cons. Pros: -Perfect size, not as humongous as my previous nexus 6 but large enough to be considered a phablet. -Gorgeous quad hd screen. -Superfast charging with the included charger. -So far have been installing and restoring several apps and I have not gone down less than 50% battery, so battery life is very good. -Great call quality, tried a couple of phone calls and was crisp clear. -Finally a Google phone with a notification light! (none on my nexus 6). -It has a earphone plug! (I'm glad they didn't follow apple on this). -SIM unlocked. Cons: -No stereo front facing speakers, this should be the norm these days. -Average visibility on sunlight (its an super amoled screen, so all of them suffer this). -No SD card slot.

Picked this up in November and it has been a great phone. I switched from a windows phone (M8) and glad I did. Goggle Assistant works better than Cortana and seems to be learning more and more things. Hooks up seemlessly with Google Play/Music (should given the company, right). Takes top notch pics too and the unlimited storage for pics too.
