Worth buying but- it cpuld be more user friendly. Being familiar with Googlehelps but with limited inputs navigating can be a problem even if you are used to Google..

I understand that you get what you pay for, but this chromebook to me seemed too high, although I did get it on sale it was still too high of a cost for a chromebook that can't run my usual things. I understand how Chromebooks work but I had to return it as I could not see myself keeping this expensive of a computer that is not really a computer.

I love google products and love the pixel line. This laptop is brilliant, very modern and beautiful. It's the best thing ever , love that you can turn into a tablet and the touchscreen is amazing, it's such a plus. I watch films on this laptop and everything to be honest. If you love google you will love this to be honest

The chromebook is amazing. The build quality and screen is super nice. However, it's not $1000 awesome. I did get it cheaper, so I'm happy with the price I paid. The backlit keyboard is nice also. My one issue is the Netflix app has issues on this. The screen gets washed out almost, if you touch the screen, it sometimes corrects itself. Overall I'm happy.

and I haven't gone back to my windows laptop once. I love this thing. From the battery life to the touch and feel of the hardware this is a great laptop. Chrome OS is still a work in progress but with most services web-based these days I have little I need to install and the full android marketplace fills in the minor gaps.

For the many of us that don't require Windows-specific applications (or Mac-specific), Chromebooks offer easy, virus-free, quick-starting browsing and google docs at a moderate price. And the Pixelbook adds to that a very thin and lightweight package. The UI and things like touch-pad scrolling are not quite as nice as on a Macbook, but the cost is also less.

Finally a chromebook can be a playbook and as a 2-1 PC. Android apps runs on the system very well, such as Amazon Prime Video. Very well designed. Keyboard is awesome. The only thing to improve is the display to be with a smaller bezel. Or squeeze in a 13inch display, that will be even better.

I am a teacher and have chrome books in my classroom and I wanted to work on a chrome book at home, but I am so used to my MacBook, I am spoiled. This pixel book really fit the bill on quality hardware - beautiful screen, nice keyboard, nice trackback. It is a pleasure to use and I enjoy it.

I like the fact that it's fast and light at a reasonable price!

I am happy thus far for getting the laptop. I ran into a few snag with printing and a few other downloads. Best thing I am hoping or waiting for is Photoshop layered to use on here. The transition from Windows to this is easy. Software and hardware are both done well and battery is great.

The Google Pixel book is a solid machine. I am a lifelong Mac user who made the switch to the Chromebook and then upgraded to the Pixel book. Massive battery life. If cloud based storage doesn't bother you, it is the best.

Its expensive but best chromebook by far. Build quality is awesome, very responsive. Now runs some Linux apps. I use this alot for everyday type stuff. Only compliant is that in tablet mode you tend to click the touchpad on the back which feels wierd but doesnt affect using it as a tablet.

I have this and a MacBook Pro and air. But this is my go-to!! I much prefer this than Apple. I find it insane bc all my Products are from apple and I love apple but the pixelbook is so simple and easy to use!

Switch from Apple products to Google and it has been a wonderful experience. Love that it automatically switches to tablet view when you flip the keyboard back and then right back to desktop when you switch again.

This Pixelbook is my "go to" device for all my computing needs, except using Quicken to write checks. All my word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation slides are easy to prepare using the included software. No viruses and no virus protection software to buy.

I've been holding out getting this chromebook because of the price! Well lo and behold..came as a gift for father's day! love these kids...Its smooth, fast and fun to work on. A longer Battery life could be desirable but all in all a great chromebook!

Really like the touchscreen feature, lightweight product

I use this device for home use a very light work. It has far exceeded my expectations on every thing but battery life (battery life is still good just not the 10 hours advertised). The touchpad is better than anything I have used before (including MacAirs and MacBook Pros). The feel of everything is solid and the device just screams quality. My wife (lifetime Mac user) keeps talking about getting one for herself because she likes mine so much. Beware though, office products work great for home use, but many enterprise level functions are just not there yet, especially in the case of MS-Excel & MS-Access. There are workarounds, but they will significantly effect productivity. As a personal use device this is perfect!
