I have 4 of the google wifi routers now. Setup is easy and intuitive. The only problems I have are that one particular device of mine has trouble finding the network and staying connected, and it requires you to be connected to the same network for remote app control. The other problem is that if you have one hub connected through a slower (non-cabled) connection then it slows the whole network down. Overall very easy to use, allows you to spread your network with ease even if you're not a networking genius.

Lots of negative reviews on wifi speeds. I have all 3 hardwired and have no issues. Love the ability to control remotely. Great if needing to setup wifi at an older parents house. I have the ability to control/reset from home.

Compared to the routers and extenders I was using before, this system is light years ahead! Using the same internet provider I was previously getting download speeds of 3-5 mb/second. With the three piece google mesh system it’s always close to 100 mb/sec. Great for streaming.

easy to setup, easy to use. I would give it a 5 out of 5 if it had ONE more feature: the ability to control what frequency devices connect to. It's nice that it automatically connects to the fastest frequency compatible with the device, but I rather have certain devices connected to the 5GHz and some to the 2.4GHz. The other thing I don't like is that if a device is doing a heavy load internet job, it will disconnect other devices on the network to divert full coverage to the 1. Other than that, it's great

Had Wifi issues being in a split level. Even with WiFi extenders couldn’t get good reception down stairs. Bought 2 google Wifi routers one in bedroom,one in living room and house has great reception even with multiple people and devices using at the same time. No issues.

We have struggled for years to have consistent WiFi throughout the house. With this Google WiFi AC1200 system and one additional satellite we have a consistent signal throughout the house for all our devices and family to stream content and work on the computers.

It’s a great product, but to see the benefits you need two of them or more. The range is great I live on 3000 square foot home, two stories and it’s great but you need two or more. In our other home we have a town home 1000 square foot two stories and one works just great, overall tgecposition needs to be away from walls the only downside is that you need a Gmail account to access all the features. And you just know they are selling it or using it to target your adds.

I am glad I went with Google Mesh. The wifi coverage around my house is superior to my old single router setup. I even bought one more for my garage. 4 of these did the trick! I did plug directly into 2 of them for my security camera recorder and solar panel interface.

Needed an upgrade to my router. This is working great, plus love the app where you can check the speed of the internet, etc.

We were excited to use the Google wifi system in our cabin which is not large, but higgly piggly. Unfortunately the guidance of '2 rooms' distance seems to be 2 10' not 12-14' rooms. Even a transmission up a staircase was a challenge - a vertical 12' that took multiple moves to get operating. We bought this unit as an add on because the initial 3 cells hadn't been enough. We've adjusted things and it is as I said good but not great. A bit disappointed, but love the concept and the app to trouble shoot!

Love love love the Google Wifi mesh. If you have a Google eco-system, this is the router to go with. You can control everything remotely and when traveling it can be useful to be able to do things like reboot it or help the family that may not understand things like this so well.

I believe the internet has been better. Have not had any lagging issues with my internet or while playing online.

Set this up with Google Fiber and it works fabulously throughout the house. Could not be happier with this WiFi set up. Love being able to set up a guest network for extended family and company when they come over. Would highly recommend.

We had a old router that kept dropping our connections and decided it was time for a new one. I did some research and decided to purchase the Google router. It was super easy to set up and we haven’t had any dropped connections. I also love the compact size.

We used to have all these different Broadband systems all throughout the house and none of them really worked now they all talk to each other smartly I might add and provide us with the internet connection that we need and the speed that we need this was definitely a smart purchase

I like it. Easy to install. Only thing is you can’t access it from an up address which is super annoying.

My home is 1450 sq footage and the router is in the living room. Whenever I would go into the bedroom my WiFi would become weak on my phone. A friend of mine told me about these so I decided to give it a shot. I have full WiFi no matter where I go in the House now and even in my back and front yards which is a plus because I can stream pandora while doing yard work. It would’ve been a 5 star rating if Best Buy sold the 2 pack that is offered on the manufacturers website.

The Google WiFi mesh system resolved all of the internet issues we were experiencing at home. We had too many devices (35+) for our "out of the box" router from the Cable Company. The app and additional features are an added bonus.

So far so good, I really like the system and the interface. The only negative is the distance, I do not have the range with this that I have had with my past routers. I used to be able to be in the back of my yard and have a connection, I do not anymore. But in my house the signal is extremely good.

One unit works great for a small home or apartment, we also own 3 at our other home and work good in 2500sq ft
