    We bought this to help increase our Wifi service in our house. So far so good. Multiple devices can be online at the same time and with kids this is great at homework time.

    Set up is easy. The instructions say "no more than 2 rooms apart" but they should say no more than 1 wall. The reach is not impressive. My house is not large but it is long due to being on a narrow lot. As a result, I still do not have coverage all the way to the garage. I will need to buy a fourth unit. That's where the pricing comes in. I paid an average of eighty in the three-pack but will now have to either buy 3 more or pay a twenty per cent premium for just one.

    We have a Victorian home with lath and plaster which makes a wireless signal weaker. By spreading the pods on our second floor we have a good signal everywhere.

    This has given me wifi in dead spots in my house but the overall range is a lot less than the AirPort Extreme and the speeds are about 20mb slower on a 200mb connection.
