Best Mesh System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Google system and a lynksys more powerful system. I am running 2 networks in my house. The first google system I am running with 5 nodes and 18 devices. With all this I am able to stream on at least 2 phones and record 3 shows in HD no issues. Was so good I returned lynksys and God second google mesh for whole house security system. Works perfect and no gaps in full 5 camera HD recording. It's google so reliable product at a great price. I couldn't be happier. Was scared that no dedicated band, mix of 2.4 &5Gz seemed unusual but it managed the frequency very well. Also easy as heck to set up. App walks you through everything in setup making it the easiest

Great boost for all my devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a huge help with boosting wifi throughout the home. My wife is back in school and completing homework online, while using the apple tv pretty often. I often am working from home in the evenings and I've seen a great bump in speed. Also able to push my xbox live or firestick in the bedroom.

It works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was having trouble with wifi router from xfinity. Spoke to the expert at Best Buy in Cherry Hill, NJ. He recommended this product. Not much else to say. It was easy to set up and it works as described. Super fast and reliable. Way faster than the xfinity router's wifi and now my whole house is covered.

Easy Setup, Solid Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The setup of the Google WiFi system is exceptionally simple. Just download the app and follow the prompts. It will even suggest relocating an access point if performance isn't stable. If hard wiring is an option, it is still highly recommended, but the all wireless mesh system performs very well.

Google Wifi - First Impressions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google Wi-Fi is the buzz of the home networking market. Supplies of these devices are short at major retailers. The lack of supply is something more akin to an Apple launch than what is expected from other vendors in this market space. Recently I was able to purchase a 3 pack from a major brick and mortar vendor through their online store. The unit arrived in excellent condition in a well constructed box. The units are well cradled in their holders with the power supplies beneath them. The middle one in mine had an ethernet cable which was noted in the packing but I expected to find in the left hand spot. The power supply cables were secured with 2 pieces of cheap cellophane tape that were a pain to get off and a minor annoyance. Otherwise, unpacking everything was a pleasure. Setup began with downloading the Google Wi-Fi app to my iPhone. This first step was easy enough. The second step was a little more difficult as my home ISP is Xfinity with the current triple play option for phone service. This meant putting my Xfinity router into bridge mode. The process is fairly simple depending on your router and configuration. There are many short posts and how to videos on the internet to guide you through the process if you are uncomfortable doing it by yourself. As a side note, I recommend doing this on a day when you have the house to yourself as this will minimize the frequent questions of "When will the internet be up again?" The Xfinity router needed a reboot after be put into "bridge mode" so this was the time to pull my old wifi router out of service. The reason for "bridge mode" is the Google Wifi needs to be the primary device if the wireless mesh is going to work. One other piece of equipment may be necessary at this point is an ethernet switch. There are several devices on my network that connect to the web and hooking by ethernet is more practical since they are right next to the router, The devices are a blu-ray player, gaming consoles, TV and a Sonos Bridge (now discontinued). The main setup of the devices is very forward and should be able to be followed by anyone with a minimal amount of technical skill. Just follow the directions. Do not over think the direction or jump ahead. Just follow the directions exactly as given on your iPhone or Android phone. Google has thought out the process and made the steps very simple Once the first unit is installed the other two install very easily. The Google software seems to indicate the ability to handle at least 5 units in a mesh which is valuable if you have a very large multi-story or rambling ranch house but I was unable to test that configuration. If you are in that situation consult with Google or an IT Professional. If you follow the direction on the app it will be a successful and pleasant experience. Google WiFi has been reliable and steady for the last week. The speed of the WiFi is higher that under my previous Apple device and the signal is now stronger in the basement and back room and deck which are now covered by the mesh. The ability to sit on the back deck on a 70 plus degree day in February while grilling and have full signal strength was worth both the cost and time of this upgrade. I did take pains not to mention the change to the family and no one seems to have noticed the change since I took pains to do it when they were not here and kept the SSID and key the same for the network. If you have an older wifi router or wifi access point then Google Wifi is worth considering as a replacement for your existing unit. When users don't notice the change other than it seems faster and more reliable I consider that the best type of IT upgrade whether at home or work. Unbelievable!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had a long four years with very slow internet. I discovered the Google Wi-Fi in the store. We have a two story home and the family living downstairs had very poor reception. Adding the two Google units have changed our lives!! Very easy set up and no problems!! Highly satisfied customer!!

Great mesh network from Google
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using the wifi pucks for a month now and so far it has been great. We had deadspots in the house and the mesh network covers all of the house with wifi signal. They are are bit expensive but worth it. It does not have advanced features that you have on other routers etc but it just works well.

Finally a product that works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting for this to come back in stock. I pay for 100mbs but only have been getting 20 - 40 at best. I was concerned about the distance I would be from the router but it was worth a try. Setup is truly easy. Up and running in less than 15 min. My laptop has a built in "N" wireless adapter. I have been using an "AC" USB adapter on a USB3 port. My old router was "N". Since the Google WiFi is "AC" and Dual Band I hoped for the best. With the laptop a couple of feet from the router I got 114mbs. About what I had with a wired connection. Wow.. I was impressed. Only got 45mbs previously on WiFi there. Now for the real test. Sat on the couch where I use my laptop, About 30 ft away from the router with a couple of walls between us. Speed test reported 114mbs here in the living room. I couldn't believe it. Installed a new Nano AC WiFi USB adapter on my laptop because the old adapter stuck out 2 inches and I was worried about damaging the USB port by hitting it. Didn't lose any speed. Still 114mbs. Buy this. It works.

Great mesh solution, simple to setup and great fea
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great solution for larger homes. Every thing is on app, setup the system, check the status, checking the data used on each devices, total device connected.. so many. Two greatest feature i like is to pause the net on a particular device and giving a particular device as a priority for an hour.

Working great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cut the cord from Comcast and am moving to internet TV. This allows me to get a good signal throughout my home. Not had any problems this far. Easy set up. A lot of controls, but haven't had a chance to tinker with a lot of them yet. Works great with my 3 Google Homes and my one Google Mini.

Best!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Linksys 3200ACM only lasted a year, very disappointing. And, I had to run an extender for my second floor. I said, enough of this! In comes the Google WiFi pucks. Easy set up using the app. And I had all three pucks covering my 4500 sq ft home within 15 mins. Since December 2017 I have not had to restart or reset, amazing. The speed isn’t blazing fast, but who needs speeds that fast anyway? The thing is just reliable! I have two teens living with me and a wife thats always online, and i have never had a problem getting and being online. So, for that I give it 5 stars. Reliable, dependable, no worries, no problems! And, I have great WiFi!

Works flawlessly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought to help cover some dead spots due to thick walls and brick. My home is smaller (1800 sq. ft.) but I used all three anyways. Works very well Home and I get great signal around the house. Also, if you need more ports, just buy a small switch and plug it into any of the mesh points.

Great Home Mesh Network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Google Wifi System when upgrading my home network. After looking through performance specs and cost - the google solution made for a logical choice. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product to those looking to improve performance and coverage.

Best priced mesh network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the few mesh network solutions on the market Google WiFi is best priced specially when you buy it in the 3x pack. At under $300.00 is comparable in price with one of the latest and best stand alone router, It will surpass however the single router in surface coverage and management simplicity. It will not match the network customization flexibility of a good router or the performance and management feature of an enterprise network like Meraki-Cisco but for the price is the best!

Finally
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was easy to install as everyone else says, but the one good thing about it is I no longer have to think about my wifi. It actually works throughout the entire house, nothing is slow, and there are no dead spots. The only thing I don't like about it is that I also have a lot of wired connections, and to integrate those you need a switch. Instead I just kept the Nighthawk and am using it basically as a very expensive switch, but that way I didn't have to buy anything extra.

Fantastic Wireless Router!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Netgear Nighthawk (which was silly expensive three years ago) had all but become useless. Netgear kept releasing "updates" that made it slower and slower. Picked this unit up to replace it. Started out with just one unit to see if it would cover my house. To my surprise, it did! All of my wireless gear is working as it should, and speeds are at/above what I get plugged directly into the modem. VERY easy to set up, and the controls in the app are first-rate. Works seamlessly with the rest of our Google home devices. Streaming video and audio works without a hitch, even in 4K.

Best WiFi system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve gone through different routers throughout the year and this WiFi system is by far the best we’ve ever used. It’s always been a struggle to have full coverage throughout our whole house but with this system the problem has been solved. We have fast internet and full coverage!

I love my Google wi-fi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very easy to configure, easy on the eyes, enjoyable product. I was able to set up my wireless in a matter of minutes and it has been working since. My Google wifi is in my basement in a corner and that one single device alone can cover almost my entire 1500 sq feet home.

Love my new Google Mesh Wi-Fi Network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have about 2,000 square feet single story single family home. I placed one towards the rear of the house next to the Spectrum Cable Modem, another in the middle in one of the bedrooms, and the third at the front formal living room. Now, I have great connection for my WiFi MyQ garage door opener, Ring Pro, Nest Thermostat, exterior Nest CAM and several interior Nest CAMs, Roku, Netflix, Smart TVs, and my son on his Xbox or PS4. I have the 100 mbps service from Spectrum and all my devices clocks in a little above 100 for each wi-fi connectivity node. Awesome replacement for my Airport Extreme. Love it!
