I've used a number of wifi extenders but always had signal drops and inconsistent speeds. Google Wifi fixed this issue. I now have consistent speeds throughout the house. The mesh network uses beam-forming to give the best wifi signal and picks the least busy channel. The app is easy to use and makes setup seamless but you will need a Google account if you don't have one already. The Wifi "points" also look minimal as opposed to many other routers. Overall: very happy with Google Wifi and it's user-friendly app. Each point has 2 ethernet ports, one being WAN, so a hub or switch may be required for connecting multiple wired devices.

This router system is simple and awesome. I have a three level house and my old router sometimes had trouble getting good signal to all the rooms. I bought the 3pack Google home, which took about 15 minutes total to setup, and now have fantastic signal everywhere. Great product!

Taking this home it and setting it up was a breeze. The app walls yu though exactly what to do. Once I was done I checked my speed throughout the house and it was great. Awesome product for someone who want to amplify their WiFi, but doesn’t care about a bunch of extra features.

Hands down the best router I have ever used. Coming from linksys asus and Netgear. This one takes the win for features, reliability and ease of use. The range is great and we only have a single hub in our house. I have had this router for about 5 months now and it has not ever needed reset. The mesh feature is great. You can view on the app that all devices are connected to the router but they idle on the 2.4 channel. As soon as a large enough load is put on it the router will switch that device to the 5.0 network on its own. Streaming and smart home devices work flawlessly

We suffered through unreliable WiFi with less expensive routers and are not having one second of remorse over investing in Google WiFi. We have one on each floor of the house and one in a back bedroom. No dead spots anywhere in 4200 sq ft, plus good range outside on the patio.

Before purchasing the Google Wifi 3-pack, we had a tri-band wireless router that's set up in the back side of our house. It did an "OK" job, but there were still deadspots throughout the house due to walls and other interference. Being that we do not have the option of moving the router to a central location of our house, we decided to try out Google Wifi. Setup is extremely easy and provides perfect coverage of wifi throughout my entire house. We can even perfectly stream our Steam Link device in our living room, from a computer on the other side of the house with hardly any delay at all, and 0 dropped frames! The "Family Wifi" feature is very nice as well; it's so easy to setup "groups" of devices (i.e. children's tablets, computers, or cell phones) and schedule times for no internet access to those devices. We can also setup a group for our cell phones and have no interruptions during the night. I highly recommend Google Wifi!

Completely fixed my problem of slow and spotty internet service at home. With my previous router, I had “deadspots” in my master bedroom and downstairs in the living room, but even more frustrating is I would randomly lose connection throughout the day for just a minute or two at a time, but when I work from home it got so tedious that I ran an Ethernet wire about 100 feet down the hallway and into the office to relieve the problem. Now with this multiple ports I have a reliable connection 100% of the time and because I can place them in separate rooms, I’m also able to plug in directly in different locations of the house if I don’t want to be wireless. My speeds are also more than double as fast, but I’m assuming that’s due to a new modem I purchased and not necessarily the router, but if you’re having trouble with your setup, I can tell you it’s well worth the money to have a reliable and fast connection. Highly recommend!

I have a 3300 sq ft rancher home all on one level. Previous configurations with range extenders and other routers setup just did not provide near the strength or seamless transition from one to the other. This google wifi setup solved all of my problems and now my signal strength is full everywhere. I even have more signal strength outside in the yard and driveway. I am running this with my Verizon FIOS and have the Google wifi doing all of the wifi. You can't beat this for the price. This setup cured all my wifi problems. I also like being able to control everything from the app on my phone. Very user friendly. Awesome product!!!

After having much trouble with a new Asus router I purchased the Google. Mesh Router. It has turned out to be the best trouble free router that I have ever used. The set up was easy and it works perfectly through out our home with no dead spots. It was and excellent choice.

Very happy with this purchase! I bought this to replace my router that was only pulling down 120 megabits per second at best, and after buying this I more than doubled my speed immediately and the coverage in my house is absolutely phenomenal no matter what room I'm in.

We purchased this system to upgrade an old wifi router we had been using for way, way too long. While I expected to see an increase in performance, the improvement was more than I hoped. The increased speed and coverage were very impressive. Additionally, the set-up was very easy. There is an app for your phone that walks you through the process and helps you optimize the system's performance. While I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, I have no interest in spending hours tweaking wifi access points. The app basically did it for me!

We were having issues with the new Frontier Wifi in our home covering the entire house. We went to the store to look for options, and the sales person recommended this. It was a breeze to setup and now we have strong Wifi throughout the house and outside on the patio.

Google Wifi is the best product I have used for home wifi networking! It is incredibly simple to set up, easy to use, secure, and good looking so each unit can be placed in areas that may have high visibility. The app allows you to track the devices on your network and data usage (total and per unit). The app has many other features too, such as creating a guest network (that is secure for everyone), family networking to limit specific device access to adult internet content, and device prioritization to allocate internet usage to the devices they need it the most. Amazing product!

This is the easiest Wi-Fi router setup to. Have close to a 3000 square foot home so I bought A3 pack and this works fall asleep connecting upstairs and all portions of the house to have 100% WiFi signal strength. Does an amazing job if you walk to the house no drops no dead zones would highly recommend. Has most features you're used to on your regular router system but this is a lot easier to you since you just use everything through the Google app. Extremely fast no complaints no issues streaming 4K with multiple devices at the same time. If you need me best WiFi router mesh setup out there this is it.

I had spotty wifi coverage in certain parts of my home. My router just couldn't reach everywhere by itself. I tried a wifi range extender, but that gave me different wifi networks and our devices wouldn't automatically switch between them. I also had to reset the extender frequently. I purchased the google wifi 3-pack and my problems were solved. They are super easy to install and set up. I now have wifi throughout my 5,100 sq ft home. Honestly I probably need a fourth google wifi, but that would only be to speed up the wifi in the far corners of my home that are infrequently used. Since there is only one network, all my devices stay connected and don't have to switch networks. I love the guest network feature. Very easy to set up and configure. I like that I can connect a network hard drive to each google wifi through the included Ethernet ports. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to soon.

Was looking for wifi for my home when my wifi extender died. Google wifi is the best when setting up very easy also have been getting excellent coverage all over the house!!! 2700 sf with lots of walls. Should have got sooner:). Would have saved me alot of headaches

I love the Google WiFi. My house includes myself my wife and 3 boys and my regular WiFi was always congested no matter how much I raised the WiFi .now every gadget flys through with no problem and so easy to connect I’m highly recommending this for large family’s

I have the Google OnHub router, which I wanted to keep it all in the family when looking at additional wifi points. I was also considering the Samsung routers that had SmartThings integration because my whole home is controlled via Z-Wave integration. However, I've never had an issue with the SmartThings hub. I was having issues with my wifi calling however. I can't get a cellular signal in my condo unit (1800 sf, brick construction). The wifi is generally good, but I would keep dropping calls when sitting on conference calls via wifi. The only thing I could think of was that the stream was not continuous, so perhaps a true mesh network would solve it. I ended up buying the 3-pack, which is probably excessive, but better bang for the buck. Once I set up the system, which took all of 5-minutes, my wifi was running seamlessly and I quit dropping my calls. Definitely worth the money on my end.

I had been paying the cable company per month for Wi-Fi and the connection was terrible. Set up up the Google wifi in about 10 minutes and it does more than what I needed. Great connection and speed in all parts of my home and even in the yard! Great product.

I purchased this with the idea that I would eliminate any and all dead spots in my house, which the product has. However, it is expensive, more so than I think it needs to be. Maybe I should be wearing an aluminum foil hat for thinking this, but it seems like another way for Google to collect data on people. Ultimately, it gets the job done, does as advertised, and provides real time data for the techno junkie to access on their smart devices.
