No Brainer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want something to just work and work very well this is the system to buy! Open it up, plug it in, follow the simple directions and it really is a no brainer. I somehow manage to get frustrated with routers because something is always not quite 100% to my liking. Whether it’s speed, range, connection problems, always a compromise or eventual problem. Constantly fiddling with channel, position, priority. Not this. Seriously, I set the system up and I’ve been able to have maximum speed everywhere. I have over 20 devices connected, Apple TV, Xbox One, Hue lighting, MacBooks, iPads phones, computers, printers, etc. 5 plus people essentially constantly on the network without any issues. No resets, no fiddling, no problems what so ever. I usually feel guilty because I am a person that research’s everything I can about a product before buying but seldom do a review. WiFi is a commodity these days and we all want something that just works and works fast. A person can get caught up with certain specs or features and those are important to the people that need them but for the majority of people i.e. almost everyone, this mesh system will be the single best thing you can buy for yourself and/or family especially if you have a large home multi level home.

Excellent whole-home coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazingly easy to setup. Fantastic coverage. If you have the ability to have a wired back-haul on this device (wired ethernet in your home) then this is the fastest wireless option! Im consistently getting near 100% of my internet plan's rated spees when testing on a wireless connection, even when my kids are online. Im super happy with the purchase. No more wifi dead spots!

Good for most households - easy to install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up and app is self explaining. Performance seems to be steady and it has eliminated any dead spots I may have had. I have them set up on wall holders vs. table top. One shortcoming I see is that you have no way to validate if your are connected at 5ghz WiFi or not. It’s faith based and supposed to do it. I have a smarthome and it works flawless with it Samsung SmartThings is the hub. Just make the ssid and password exactly the same and you will connect without having to reset all smart devices. Good for an average user and home owner like me at a decent pricepoint. Usually on sale somewhere.

Great networking, nearly perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was already using the Google router before adding these hockey pucks. They installed quickly and easily and the phone app made configuration easy. I'm getting great speeds throughout my house. I get 150 mbs from my primary router but <100 mbs on the pucks so... not perfect.

Google wifi does what it says
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 3 access points are easy to set up with the Google Wifi app and the access points have very good range and speeds. It's also nice that the app allows basic remote management from off the network. Good coverage for a large house, and that's what it's designed for. Some users will be disappointed with the lack of advanced features, but for most users, it's nearly perfect.

Best home mesh network device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally, with this device, I am able to cover my whole home with reliable Wifi. The setup was a breeze using the app which even helps with optimizing the placement of the access points. I love the admin features of the app which include device access/prioritization as well as some content filtering options. The price wasn't bad either. Great item all around.

Incredible System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a great router, (Asus Dark Knight AC), this Google Mesh System blew me away. System setup was unbelievably quick and easy. Cosmetically its beatiful and the performance is absolutely outstanding! I get 186mbps in my basement Man Cave now, incredible! I was getting 36mbps with the Asus router using the same internet. Would highly recommend!

Great Wi-Fi Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic coverage versus my 26 channel Nethesr router, which I now use exclusively as the modem. I have 2 access points for a ~1600 sq. foot house and receive reliable fast coverage throughout. Expandable with additional access points using mesh. Easy setup. App displays relevant info such as speed tests and devices connected. Well worth the money.

Awesome Wifi system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been living with my TW installed Dual band Wifi router and its horrible coverage for too long. I bought the 3 pack for a two story house w/ approx. 2700sqft. The Google router Wifi was very simple to install with easy to follow instructions. Their mesh technology is amazing. The coverage was great at all corners of my house and download speed gain was an unexpected bonus. If you are using or thinking of buying a high end, single router, dual or three band, WiFi ranger extended system, you are missing out on the latest technology.

Great Wifi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have nest cameras and two of the cameras we're losing their internet connection many times throughout the day. We had several areas of the house that were dead spots. Google WiFi was extremely easy to set up and we've now had it for several months and we've never lost connectivity to the cameras or experience any dead spots. It's really a great product.

Not the best for what I was trying to do...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was trying to purchase something to extend Wifi into a detached garage 50 feet away. These units need to be within 30 feet of each other. In range, the signal is strong. They are also a no brainer to set up. I do have some signal in my detached garage but it is not good. I have a 2400 square foot house. I bought six units to try to get into that garage. Also, the older Dell laptop we have would recognize the signal but would not use it. I spoke to the help line for Google Wifi and they had no solutions. I found another review for this that mentioned that same issue, so it may be a Dell thing. While disappointed that I could not get full service in my detached garage, I feel it is a good product, I just wish it had better range between units.

No more dead zones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear Nighthawk with the single DST was unable to reach a few areas of the house. Netflix was not an option in the family room due to extremely poor performance. Suggestion from the Google website was for 4 routers; but with the sale price of the 3 pack I went ahead and got 6. I have 2 in the basement (media room and office), 2 on the main level (master bedroom and family room), 1 upstairs and 1 mounted on a portable cart that I use in the backyard, garage, etc. Setting them up was very easy. The primary streaming devices (Roku Ultras & BluRay player) are hard-wired to the router in the room, so those are no longer experiencing any buffering. The only aspect that seems odd is that when I have reset the network, the router in the media room (main one) comes up first and all phones, ipads, etc within range of it connect to that one and the only way I have I figured to connect them to the closest one is to turn the wifi off/on on each device. It seemed as though if the primary router is a bit overloaded it does slow everything down, but the speed tests done on the PC (also hard-wired to office router) are reaching numbers the Netgear could only dream of. Consistent download speeds over 120Mbps (Charter Spectrum). So far I am very pleased.

Great Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google WiFi is the perfect solution for a strong wireless signal throughout your home. The small, sleek looking units link up easily with my cable provider modem and do not require a separate router, for an easy installation. No more hardwired range extenders in my house. This is my 3rd signal extender and after getting periodic dropped coverage with the other two, I was getting skeptical about how this one would perform. It's been over three months and I am so glad I bought this. I wish they that this product out years ago.
