Awesome wifi coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was recommended while I was shopping at the store after talking with an associate about my wifi issue. The manager of the store happened to be walking by and also spoke with my wife and I about the great coverage this product provides. Easy to setup with existing wifi and offers better coverage and speed than isp

Best Wifi i’ve ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by the best WiFi router i’ve ever owned. I went from having Apple routers of all shapes and sizes and when I heard Apple will no longer be developing WiFi routers I knew I needed something else. The setup was super easy and it all just works. I now don’t have to worry about if my signal will carry to the other end of the house or not. I seriously can’t recommend this product any higher.

Enjoying my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this after battling with an Orbi for a year. The Orbi was super fast when it worked but I work from home and couldn't tolerate the random reboots. Each firmware seemed to make it worse. The Google system system fit the bill for replacing it. Signal strength in all areas of my 2 story home are full and consistent. I only notice that the throughput for devices is not as high as it was with the Orbi. With google I see 150 Mbps - 250 Mbps where I was getting 250Mbps + with the Orbi. Again, no complaint and it is plenty fast enough for streaming anything from the internet or my local PC movie library. I am happy with the switch. One thing I do not like is the requirement to manage everything through the app. I would love to have a good ole webserver interface and not rely on my google account - but I see this as a trend for other manufacturers as well.

Work great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 4 of these, only 3 currently hooked up. They are easy to install and set up. I have one in the basement, one in the office and another one upstairs. I don’t notice any signal drop off while issuing these and don’t notice any issues with speed either.

Excellent Performance and Coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was upgrading from a router about 10 years old that would occasionally have slow connectivity with cell phones (games), and my 2 Nest cameras would frequently lose connection for 30 minutes or so every few nights. I also recently tried the Netgear AC3200, but am returning it and keeping the Google WiFi system. I have Xfinity 150 mbps service, and both router systems provided similar mbps performance, but the Netgear wouldn’t reach a corner of my bedroom where I’ve always had challenges getting full coverage. Our home is around 3,000 square feet, and I think the signal has to travel through too many walls/stairwells at that location. The Google WiFi mesh system provides full, consistent coverage in every room of my house and everywhere in my yard outside. Extremely happy with this purchase.

This is the best Wifi system out there, PERIOD!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google Wifi System is fantastic, and easy to set up. Once set up, the coverage is amazing, and speeds never slow down because of the ability to hard wire each point together, unlike other wifi systems. I recommend this to anyone, regardless of the house size.

Space saver and works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Google 3 pack for my 2200 sf home. I was having so many issues with the one unit provided by my TV/internet provider Spectrum. I had a combo Spectrum router/modem which was malfunctioning and they suggested I pay for an upgrade in faster internet service and a new individual router and modem. I did and I was without internet for a week! It keep kicking me off, or didn't have it at all. Finally I asked friends and they told me of the mesh system...returned the Spectrum router and kept the modem(which I need for cable TV) and am now using this terrific system. Absolutely no problems what-so-ever! Simple setup! Just plug in and go! I love it! No internet issues at all!!!!!! Definitely a worth it buy! I bought three..one in my office, one in our LR and one in the Guest Bedroom. All working well!!!:)

Should please most users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The motivation for replacing my existing Netgear router was the increasing reliance we (all) have on reliable home Wifi coverage. Now everything from my printer to our security system quits if we lose internet. (I really hate that, but now no one can escape ). Prior to installing the Google hardware I did a signal strength and data rate map of the house , garage and yard. As expected in the remote rooms, on the patio and in the garage performance was poor or unusable, with some locations clocking in at 1 MB or worse. ( We have a 2400 sqft house, one story with typical sheetrock interior and frame stucco outside) Installation and setup is trivially simple, using the cell phone app for setup. It came up immediately and all my stuff (TV's, ROKUs, laptops, Yamaha wireless music, Xfinity Home, and several ethernet devices) all connected automatically without issues. It doesn't get any easier than this. If you don't consider fighting electronic gadgets "fun", then this is the system for you. We now have measured 40MB to 80MB everywhere in the house, and about 35MB on the patio and garage. Coverage is wide enough outside to allow wireless TV cams for the perimeter. Overall I am very pleased with the simplicity and effectiveness. I docked it 1 Star down to four because of the limited I/O. No USB support, and few Ethernet ports. I was able to spread stuff out among different pods, so I didn't run out of ports, but more would be handy. Overall, a very good choice for most people, though probably not for super gamers who sleep on their mother's couch.

Worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an upgrade this unit has done for our WiFi in our 2 story house. We had only what our provider Verizon provides such as router and modem. Our WiFi would constantly go out or lose connection. We would have problems streaming movies all the time. Taking forever to load even buffer at times while watch the movie if it ever loaded. Now all those problems are gone. Streaming has been a huge difference in quality and speed. No more loss of internet connections. Even with 5 people using every device possible we have no issues since we upgraded to this awesome unit. It was simple to install along with the ease of location for the other units. All you need is a power source for the other 2 units. We have 1 upstairs that’s connected to our modem and 2 downstairs that’s plugged into a standard wall outlet. If your wanting to boost your WiFi I suggest this unit. I found it cheaper on amazon but was worried about the hassle of returning it for some reason if it did not work for what we were trying to accomplish. But best buy does price match so it was an easy choice for me.

Simple and easy, solid performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just moved it up to this area a couple years ago and got Wave broadband. Really satisfied with service but the wireless modem was not the best. It had really spotty coverage even in my 1600 square foot rambler style home. I have a huge lot on a corner that's almost an acre and needed better coverage throughout my home and property. Got this Google Wi-Fi three pack and had it all set up and running in about 20 minutes. Now I get super strong Wi-Fi everywhere in my house and on my property. I can even have some smart light bulbs outside in my fixtures in the front of my garage. The signal goes right through the metal garage door no problem now. Really should have done this a long time ago. If you're building a smart home you really need great Wi-Fi coverage and a system like this works perfectly and seamlessly.
