Works great and does extend battery life. Only thing I would change is it is a little small.

The extra battery life is great and the remote even though it is not the smart remote is nice.

I got my remote with a bundle and used it a few times. The remote works great and is nice to have when recording while driving or doing some activity and you aren't close to your GoPro. I would say the remote is worth the price of I had to buy it separately. And that being said I prefer to use my iPhone as the controller because it had more options but that's my personal preference.

This works great with my Go Pro hero 4 black edition when I'm running, biking, or in the my motorcycle.

It's a very convenient means of controlling my GoPro, but the wifi connection really burns through batteries.

This little Remote is great and the battery is also useful as the gopro has a short battery life.

Love the added battery life with the battery backpack...not as happy with the remote as it is not the most current remote...would not have bought it had I realized this. It does work, but some functionality is missing with this remote.

It's great to have the remote and larger capacity battery pack. The batter pack does cover the touch screen but it's not an issue when using the camera mounted remotely where you aren't looking at the screen anyway.

When I bought my GoPro Hero4 Silver they had a special promo going on and I got this remote for free. This remote is actually very helpful when it comes to taking pictures. Highly recommend it!

If you have a selfie pole or extendable arm for your go pro, you will need one of these. Much easier to snap pictures and snap video, than reeling in your gopro every time.

This was bundled for free so I can't complain too much. It's nice to have but for current gen GoPro with the settings button this is lacking that compare to the latest remote.

I didn't think I would use the remote but on a recent trip I found it was great to use to leave my camera out, then go hide out and wait for birds or other wildlife to come.

This bundle is important if you're going to be using more than one camera. I found it much easier to sing all cameras at once and then edit video later.

This remote is pretty neat, I was really impressed after the purchase! Helps the ease of the user - therefore, making the product more user friendly.

After I got this I realizes that it would not work with the GoPro I had. But it was a great value and would recommend for the unit it fits

I got this for free when I bought my Go Pro at Best Buy deal of the day. It's a must have to extend battery life. Very good product.

So I love this adds battery life, but wished I would of gotten the LCD screen. Would of made it more use able. But lobe it either way,

It's nice to have more recording time, and the remote control is nice for time lapse, don't have to physically touch and move GoPro

Exactly what I needed since I use this on my vehicle. With a touch of a button you can stop and record whenever you want to.
