Choosing to switch to the all black housing makes the go pro look more sleek and better. All my buddys had to go out and buy one for theirs after i bought mine and showed it to them

I have to say this go pro housing has gave my go pro a slick look! If you like black items like myself, I highly recommend purchasing it. Only gripe is that it is pricey ($50)...

Was a Christmas gift to hubby. He uses it just about 24/7. He runs a martial arts business and uses it in competition and for training purposes. He can't do without his Go Pro.

I would recommend this case it well made it doesn't show anything no glare it also has a black sticker you can pour over the screen to help reduce glare

The GoPro blackout housing has a great look and feel to it. Great for use when you want your GoPro to blend in with some of it's surroundings.

This blackout housing is defiantly the way to go if you're trying to make your GoPro less obvious and not stand out so much

Housing just like the transparent ones. Having the blackout case makes it stand out or even blend in if you want it to.

I HAVE A CLIP FOR MY HERO4 AND I CLIP MY CAMERA TO MY JACKET EVERY TIME I GO TO A PARTY OR SOCIAL EVENT. SADLY PEOPLE ACT WEIRD WHEN THEY KNOW THEY ARE BEING FILMED (I GUESS I WOULD TOO, MAYBE) AND THEY WANTED TO SEE MY CAMERA ALL THE TIME AND I HAD TO STOP THE RECORDING TO SHOW OFF MY CAMERA....WELL WITH THIS IT TURNS MY CAMERA INTO A STEALTH MODE. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING IN MY JACKET BUT PEOPLE DON'T RECOGNIZE IT'S A CAMERA SO I CAN KEEP RECORDING WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS. GREAT BUY.

I purchased this after my standard GoPro housing broke on my motorcycle. I am hoping this plastic is better with vibrations. I like the sleek look of the black as my motorcycle is black. I do wish you could tell if the camera was recording from the back though.

Since there's limited options for cases for the go pros...it's nice to finally have another! the black is awesome

Due to everything being blacked out it is hard to tell if it is recording.

not much to say - This is a good case - nice that it is black, works well and it is a good case for the GP4.

Broke my original GoPro case, got this one to replace. Works great so far, looks sleeker than the clear.

It's a good case for my Go Pro 4. I'm using it now. Only if it had a bacpac for the extended battery.

Was purchased to look better on my matte black helmet which it does in fact look better.

I first purchased the see-thru version of this housing but I realized that on summer days when the sun is bright it would reflect too much sunlight, as I would be using this during boating. I like how this housing has a matte finish and is black to keep a low profile.
