Being able to charge two batteries at once saves a lot of downtime compared to charging them one at a time through the camera. The included Enduro battery really does last longer than the standard MAX batteries, especially in colder weather where the originals drained quickly. The charger is compact and has clear indicator lights so you know when each battery is ready. It would’ve been nice if it came with its own wall adapter instead of just a cable, but that’s a small gripe. Overall, the combo gives both convenience and better performance. If you shoot with the MAX often, this kit is a smart investment.

Charger and carrying case in one?

I'm not sure if it was intended to be used this way, but it's an awesome way to transport batteries because it works well as a storage case. Better yet, if you have a power brick, you can keep your MAX's batteries charged while traveling or during activities. Outside of that, it's kind of pricey for a battery charger.

I was ecstatic when I first bought the MAX360 with enduro battery back up and with the charger. However, when I realized I needed another extra battery, every BestBuy I go locally only sells the same combination. How I wish to give it 5 stars if I could only purchase the enduro battery by a pack of two or one without the charger.
