The mount is perfect for hunting or fishing. It has a high quality of construction and works nicely with a shot gun or fishing pole. I used it on a fishing trip with my Hero5 and got some incredible footage. This mount comes with new backdoors with the mounting screw on the back door itself (instead of on the bottom of the frame that comes with the camera). This is not a problem as you simply switch out the backdoors. However, I wanted to use the mount on my speargun while I scuba dive, and the mount doesn't come with a backdoor for my Hero5 Super suit. It comes with back door for the skeleton frame for the Hero5 but the camera can't go underwater deeper than 33ft without the waterproof Super Suit frame (the mount does also come with water proof doors for the dive housing for Heros 3/3+/4 just not the Hero5). Why GoPro didn't make a back door for this mount for the Super Suit I'm not sure. It is a great product as long as you don't have a Hero5 and want to go below 33ft.

Works great, I can catch everything on camera now! I love that it works for both new and old go pros!

We've only used this on a bow to practice in the backyard with no problems attaching it. Have yet to take it hunting though.

Works great on my bow. Many mounting options! Sometimes the mounting may catch an area that makes the camera angle crooked though.

My husband loves his new go pro. The film quality is really good and have good stabilization.
