Needed an underwater camera for vacation and this was perfect! Great picture, easy to use and it was on sale

Don't bother with the original Hero. Spend the extra and get the Hero+HD with the built in WiFi and Bluetooth. If you have a smart phone or tablet, you live preview your shots and remotely control the camera. I use my camera using the exterior suction cup mount on my car. I keep my iPad in the passenger seat and can preview, review and record/stop on the fly!

I've been waiting a long time for this. So glad I could finally get it. Best investment ever. Does much more then I realized. Would recommend

Daughter is into all kinds of outdoor activities, and loves to make movies of the events she does. This camera paired with a video editor and the GoPro App has made it very easy for her to do so.

Perfect for capturing sports action on the water such as crew (rowing) - water resistant so as to withstand splashing. Can also be mounted to other equipment such as bicycles..

Good camera but can be a bit confusing at first to navigate. It would also be beneficial if you could actually see what you are filming prior to completing the video.

The Go Pro Rep was in store and helped make my final decision, this is a great entry level action camera. It has the primary options I was looking for.

I can't say that the product is bad, but it is not for everybody. I purchased it online, not realizing that in order for it to work well for me that multiple accessories would be needed. I was unaware that it had no viewfinder, thus who knows what you are recording. I recommend the higher end models due to its versatility.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and we have had lots of fun with it so far. Good price for value.

Good action camera for vacations. Kids love to take pictures under the water.

We haven't had the chance to truly use the camera, but it's all kinds of fun for the small things we're testing out. Looking forward to actual adventures.
