I bought a Hero+ and within the first 3 days it completely stopped working took it back to best buy and the exchanged it for another one. This second one holds the battery power for only about a hour or two. I bought this for my kids because we spend alot of time at water parks and the pool however I was much better off using my phone in a waterproof case that I bought for $10 on amazon. Not worth the $200 on terms of battery power, however the quality is very good.

great for someone who isn't very experienced with cameras similar to the GoPro. Not to many functions to remember how to work, and does great quality captures.

This was a gift and my husband is enjoying using it. He has taken it hunting and loves it. Next it will go with him skydiving, but he needs a few more jumps first. ( you have to have 200 in to take a camera up with you ) This was a good value and the product is worth it. No complaints

Purchased this for our daughters 22nd Birthday . She has already taken it on a trip and its easy to use and takes fantastic photos and video! Totally recommend.

I really enjoy how versatile the GoPro 4 black is. I am an avid water sports enthusiast. Fishing, scuba diving, paddle boarding, or just out on my boat. The Gropro goes everywhere. I also like to mount it to my Harley while riding across the seven mile bridge.

Easy to set up. I got the Hero+ because of the bluetooth capabilities and it's been great! Glad I selected this model.

Works as well as advertised. The free editing software is good and I like using my phone or tablet as view finder. Love that it is waterproof.

While the camera itself is fantastic and captures everything in great quality, I do wish that the soft ware could recognize that the picture needs to be turned side ways to be a good video. What I mean is that I had the camera on the right side of my helmet, but in order for that to work with minimum wind resistance, I had it sideways on my helmet. The GoPro itself and the software provided do not have a function to rotate the picture 90 degrees, which seems a little unimpressive. But in terms of functionality, it worked great at high speeds, in fog, and in rain.

just upgraded my hero 2 to this. I love the time lapse movie feature the best. awesome camera fro the money. I had them price match B&H photo and got this for $329.00...great deal

Very good camera. Comes with two shells. Very simple and works great with the App. Must purchase card though. I recommend the 64GB

My boyfriend will Love this! It is a Christmas gift, so he hasn't actually received it yet, but it has all the cool stuff he's been wanting out of a camera. I bought all the accessories to go with it too. I can't wait to give it to him!

this thing takes unbelievable videos. i wish the battery was removable like my last gopro, but bang for your buck this thing is great!!!!

The camera is good, battery lasts like 2 hours. There is no external longer lasting battery pack for this go pro, big disappointment.

All-in-One Design The GoPro Hero Plus happens to be a perfect entry level GoPro for adventurous people looking to find a high-resolution camera that wont let them down. This model may not look any different from any other GoPro model; however, this can be a good thing, as it means compatibility with most the other accessories and mounts. The hard cover plastic housing it comes in is actually attached to the camera, keeping the camera locked in at all times; which is different from most other GoPro models. However, this doesn’t seem to be a problem with the easily accessible charger on the back and in turn keeps the GoPro safer and allows for rugged use. This housing is designed to survive dirt, sand, water, and pretty much anything else you can throw at it. The housing happens to be waterproof and can be used up to 100 feet deep, which gives it some uniqueness from almost all other competitors. Features and Modes Weighing only 4.3 ounces, the Hero Plus is a small, lightweight, and portable camera. Its compact design lets you hold it, mount it to your gear, or simply slip into your pocket to take anywhere. There are only three buttons on the GoPro, which allows for a simple and convenient camera. By holding the front button down, the camera turns on or off and changes between modes. This easy mode button allows for quick switching between photos, videos, and time lapse. The side button toggles between settings, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, which allows you to connect to the GoPro app. Lastly, the top button simply takes the photo or begins recording. The only drawback with the buttons would be slight confusion between them and may take some time to get used to. The GoPro app that you can download is free and is pretty sweet. It allows full control of the camera during use, shot preview, viewing, and sharing via Instagram or Facebook. Battery and Charging The integrated rechargeable lithium ion battery reaches full charge in less than a few hours. One small drawback I had with this GoPro would be the battery life. I can take it out on a normal day and the battery life will hold for up to 4 hours. However, I took it out snoboarding and I think the cold temperatures messed with it because it ended up dying in an hour. To me this is understandable, but everyone does have his or her opinion. Photo/Video Quality Being as small as it is, the image quality isn’t lacking at all. The Hero Plus is a wide angled camera that captures 1080p60 videos and 8MP photos. Compare it to the Hero 4 Session, and this camera knocks the ball out of the park. Photos and videos appear more clear, sharp, and brighter. While the colors appear to pop out more and appear more vivid than the Hero 4 Session. Compared to many other GoPro models, the Hero Plus may be the best quality picture you could buy. And coming in at only $250, I think this GoPro may be the best bang for your buck. This allows you to buy some of the hundreds of mounts and accessories that can be used for this device. Recommendation Compared to the other models of GoPro, I would recommend the Hero Plus because of the durability and quality of its camera. The Hero Plus happens to be a perfect entry level GoPro for adventurous people looking to find a high-resolution camera that wont let you down. And this camera actually happens to be one of the most reasonable priced GoPros on the market. Though I believe this camera doesn’t lack much, if you have the extra money, you may as well buy a more expensive GoPro with more qualities.

Take very clear pictures and easy to use.My grand son has enjoyed using it when he is skateboarding and bike riding.

It is nice for pictures however it is nice if there will panel to view the best picture. I have to return and get the hero+ 4
