I use my GoPro 4 with my DJI Phantom 2 quad copter. The pictures and videos are amazing! I would caution anyone wishing to film in 4K to ensure that you have a MicroSD card that supports 4k filming and a PC capable of processing the 4K video.

This camera beats using a cellphone camera. Great for behind the scenes footage and in the moments purposes.

Purchased this as a gift for a college student attending the Macy's day parade at Thanksgiving. It was perfect for the occasion.

Used this camera on a trip to Turks and Caicos. Amazing shots, but couldnt preview some shots due to no preview screen. So need lots of practice to really understand best angles for a great shot.

This is an awesome camera! I opted to spend a tad more and upgraded from silver to black. PROS: The 4K is unbelievable, but even the 1080P @ 120 fps is crisp and crystal clear. I am a novice, but this camera was so easy to use and I was taking video in no time. I love the ability to stream live action from my Android phone. I already made a professional looking video with the free GoPro Studio editing software. The waterproof/shockproof case it comes with helps you film with confidence. I will say that it was still hard to submerge a $500.00 camera on purpose, but the case did its job and it films clearly under water. Will be going to Cancun in a couple weeks and I am looking forward to bringing back some amazing video. CONS: The price is steep at $499.99 but I must say I am glad I held out until I could afford the GoPro. Also, the black addition does not come with a viewer. You can purchase one from GoPro for about $80.00 but I went on Ebay and got a knock off from China for $40.00, The Memory card are also very expensive. The Hero 4 Black requires very fast memory. I tested a Class 10 UHS 1 with 30 MB/S. It worked for 720P but started to glitch at 1080P and gave me an error message when I switched to 4K. I am know using SanDisk Extreme at 80MB/S and have had no problems. The last con would have to be battery life, not much, especially at 4K. I have also purchased 3 extra batteries and carry 4 batteries for a full day of video. CONCLUSION: This is a great camera. It is pricey but it is the best. The quality is pronominal, this thing can make an amateur like me look like a professional. If you can afford this camera, buy it with confidence. If you can not afford it, wait and save up, it's that good!

Resolution and picture quality are amazing. Easy to use, set up is simple and straightforward and the GoPro software takes care of almost every need you might have. Only gripe I have is the battery life could be better, even with the extended battery.

Really like the video quality and versatility. Battery life is disappointing as is the lack of included accessories. One can easily exceed the price of the basic camera when accessories are added. Lack of viewfinder or included (extra) screen is also a negative.

Camera is great and easy to operate. Programming thru WiFi is super easy. Much easier then my other earlier HD Hero. Battery lasts about average, however battery use goes down extremely fast while on WiFi. My suggestion, setup aiming and light with WiFi and then then disconnect when WiFi while recording. The app is easy to use and download. If you don't need to edit your video, posting online is simple and easy. Another nice thing is that all my original accessories work on the new camera case.
