Love the camera - takes great video. Must use the cable that came with it to hook to computer even though the connection is a macro usb (older connection which means another cable to carry around!) The connection to my Samsung Note 4 is somewhat spotty when I use the app on the phone. Buy extra batteries as you will need them! You get about 45 minutes of video with one battery.

this camera is a home run in every way 4k 2.7 K 1080 high speed low speed you name it this camera has amazing resolution can be compared to newer DSLR's in quality of footage. the 4k option is even better than expected when down Rio to 1080 is even more amazing can't recommend this camera enough.

The go pro 4 black is a great quality action camera. I got this for paintball and it mounts very well on it without being in the way. The only issue is the lack of battery life. It's to short if you want to use the 4k quality settings and the wifi for the wireless cell phone app doesn't help. If there's any way a battery extender could be added it'd be perfect. Over all great camera but the only con is the battery life.

I was looking for a camera that gave me the capability of recording at 4k resolution, and was also intrigued by the high frame rate at lower resolutions. The camera delivers on those aspects. It does have some hangups that you should be aware of (lack of zoom, difficult to frame shots due to the lag with the phone app, muffled sound recording in the waterproof case), but you expect some of those things out of an action camera.

Hero 4 has exceeded all my expectations as an underwater camera specifically for Scuba Diving. I used to have all the expensive camera gear but decided that I no longer wanted to bother with that. Hero 4 is simple, easy to use & operate underwater. The quality of vidoes are fantastic.

This camera is great. I use it when I go skydiving and the 4k capabilities really work well. Watching the videos on my 50" TV when I get home is great: some amazing views. The only downside is the battery life. I can get about an hour out of it without plugging it back in. I wish it was a little better. But I usually just plug it in while I'm re packing my parachute and it gives it enough charge to go on another jump.

This is a great camera especially for underwater. I really wish the battery lasted longer. Overall easy to use and takes great video.

The GoPro Black edition is spectacular at what it does, which is to handle all conditions while capturing super-HQ or high framerate video. Slomo is done very well and standard video is also great. One thing I'd knock it for is ease of use (a hurdle across all models), it's UI and battery life (extras are cheap). All in all, a great video camera and a must-have for the enthusiast who goes all terrain!

We purchased the GoPro Hero 4 Black for an underwater photo shoot we were doing with our reptiles. It worked great! The pictures and video were so clear that it exceeded our expectations. We had read the previous reviews and planned ahead for the shorter battery life when shooting with a higher resolution so we had troubles there. Would buy again.

I love this camera, it really is the best. I don't like the fact that because it shoots in 4K i can't fit any videos barely on my macbook, i had to get an external hard drive for an extra sixty bucks to hold my videos, and the battery life isn't the best, but it shoots in such clear cut videos and its so handy, i still absolutely love this camera. i wish there was a zoom on it too, but i love all the different mounts you can get, though there all expensive. you can pretty much do anything with this camera. Its perfect for what i need! if you get this product or any go pro camera you HAVE to get the seeker backpack with it, it is perfect for the go pro! if you hike or do any kind of outdoors things that backpack is amazing. thanks.

This Go-Pro is amazing we use it everywhere! It is very easy to use and is great for filming extreme sports that would otherwise be super difficult to film. Best gift ever! It is cool because there are so many different accessories that allow you to do anything you want. I am very happy with my purchase and love all my accessories too!

I've been holding off purchasing this camera thinking I might as well wait for the newer version to come out, but there was a special that I could not pass on so I purchased it on the spot. I am so glad that I did. I have an older version and I just love the clarity of the GoPro4! Its easy to set up and easy to use. Its small enough to take on all of our outdoor activities.

Wicked action camera for the money! What i like about the hero 4 black: -Burst rate is better and faster -Long exposure is decent -4K at usable frame-rates (hero 3 could only do 15fps) -Sweet 120fps slow motion at 1080 -More wireless connectivity(some hiccups, but can work) -More slow-motion -Sharpness is satisfactory -Low-light is decent enough -More manual control What's not to like? -Battery still not great -No rear touchscreen -Doesn't make bacon pancakes **New manual controls: Finally, you can make exposure adjustments! For instance: for night time-lapses, you usually want longer exposure times/shutter speed, and you can now do it with this little cam. *photos uploaded are from the beach, early morning shore-break photographed some waves using the "30/1" burst shot with the stock water-housing the Gopro came with.

I have never had a camera that captured action footage so smoothly. Being able to use wifi for playback on my iPhone is also awesome. There is too many cool things to do with this camera to describe. I recommend it to anyone who loves action sports or simply taking pics and video at the same time in 4K Ultra High Def.

Bought this as a replacement to my HERO 3+ which worked wonderful it was stolen while surfing. Nonetheless as I said the name says it all. This camera is a HERO and it makes you look like one. AMAZING!! If you've just thought about owning one, take the plunge GoPro has the best video quality and is extremely versatile

I previously used the GoPro 3+ Black. I take movies while out driving in the Cascade Mountain range. I decided to upgrade to GoPro 4 Black. Video quality is very good. Usability and setup very easy. I attached one outside on my hood, and one inside by my right shoulder. Also use the GoPro suction cup addon.

The GoPro Hero 4 Black is an amazing camera not only because of its size but because of the beautiful footage it produces. Shoots in 4k & 1080p. I would also suggest picking up the suction cup mount accessory. Once you get the camera you get addicted to buying new accessories to add to your GoPro arsenal.

PROS: All described in the product details is true and it has great quality. It has a lot of accesories and montures for almost any activity. There are tons of thing you can do with it. CONS: Battery doesn't last as much as described. They really need to improve the battery. You can only record a few minutes in 4K. You need to buy an extra battery or the battery pack in order to make sure you record a significant part of your activity.

It records beautiful, like your mom. Only down fall it eats battery life, like your mom. But i have yet to find a camrea that does not. Lots of options andor features, like your mom. Price i must say makes me crenge, i paid for it thats for sure. Pretty penny worth the spending.
