I love this thing it's one of my best purchases in a very long time ! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone this camera is for a beginner to someone that is a real extremist !

This is my first gopro product and it is everything I thought it would be. My only issue is the short battery life, to remedy that I bought 3 batteries and will probably buy a few more. Overall very easy to use and am very satisfied.

This camera is amazing! it is very small, and surprisingly sturdy. The underwater video capture works great, and the video quality is stunning. Perfect for anyone who wants to capture cinema quality videos anywhere and everywhere.

Used this underwater, in the arctic, with the kids, basically everywhere. The videos are amazingly clear and just look great! Easy to use and very nice that it connects to the tablet as a screen and remote.

The Hero 4 Black is my 3rd GoPro used for land and underwater photography. The simplicity of the camera, the small size, and the quality of both video and stills is exceptional. The GoPro is a fun, go anywhere, photographic marvel.

I've known for a while GoPro makes great action cameras. My black edition held true to my expectations. Great crystal clear footage and smooth fps. The only thing that caught me by surprise was the battery life. I snowboard and I have to turn it off between runs. Can't last the whole day. Hope to see better battery life in warmer weather.

Easy to use, fantastic video quality for such a small device. Easy to use. The wide angle view and video stability make it easy to capture important things happening around.

I purchased this camera for its 4K technology as we also recently purchased a 4K TV. The outdoor videos are amazing as are the number of options for the camera use. Be prepared, however, for quite a learning curve when it comes to all the camera settings. Be patient and make use of online help videos, the end result will be worth it!

I have been using it and there are a lot of features to learn, video is great but, yes there is but: battery life it is short when shooting with wi-fi and HD it drains in an hour so get your pack of additional batteries. Sales person from best-buy incredible helpful got me a better price on battery pack and SD card! thanks!

This LITTLE Camera does everything that I bought it for and More. Single shots, multiple shots and video. Slow motion, time lapse and numerous effects. It even does 4K resolution for my 4K TV, and that's not that common yet.

Great camera with a wide range of features and very versatile. GoPro accessories also add to it's versatility. GoPro tech support is also an excellent tool for the user

I really like the 4K. The low light is still bad but better than before. Overall, the 4 is a great upgrade and worth the money. My biggest complaint is the wifi through the GoPro app. I bought several 4's and one has to be powered on before my phone will see it. Another will see it and work fine. Then not see it at all.

Bought this camera a few months ago after having my Hero3+ stolen and it's overall a very quality camera. I give it 4 stars because it is a little overpriced and had it freeze up after trying to play footage through a tv. It could have been more than just the camera though. Other than that, I love using it!

If you are a true adventures person this is a must. It's a small and compact camera/camcorder in one. The picture is amazing and they have multiple attachments that you could use on almost everything.

Video quality was unbelievably crisp and clear. Bit of a memory hog with limited time for recording since you almost forget you're wearing it so get the biggest memory card you can. I've mounted it on everything from skis, helicopters, boats and everything in between. You can even give to your small kid for some fun kids perspective shots or just your everyday stuff. In other words, this thing can take a serious beating. Was not disappointed. Get ready for some time in front of the computer for real editing as raw video can drag out but you can make a great movie (with music) out of almost any footage (including washing the dog). Great camera but not for a beginner or someone just wanting to shoot video.

Love the camera not much love for the battery. With WiFi on and recording in 4k I get very little over a hour,WiFi off I get a lot more time. So 500 for camera 2 more battery's 20.00 x 2 = 40.00 plus you don't even get a memory card so another 50.00. But all set and done love this camera.

works great with minimum instruction used on vacation and it worked really well climbing pyrmids in Mexico also used para sailing and for friends wedding takes great pictures and its very easy to use

Great entry 4K camera when used with Final Cut Pro and other software to edit high quality video, recommend getting the battery pack for longer than 30min recording in 4K because it goes through battery life without, and it may freeze up when it becomes too hot after 30 plus mins.

This camera has amazing picture and video quality. It is very easy to use and has a variety of resolutions to select from for best results.

Coming from a Hero 3 Black w/ 4k at 12 fps, I was extremely excited to upgrade to the Hero 4 Black. The fact that I could record nearly always in 4k at 30 fps and still grab 12 mp stillshots is wonderful. The images are SOOOO crisp when played back on 4k devices. The menu structure is much easier to use. A new battery platform is a drawback but at least the Battery Bacpac is still compatible. I'm also excited to use the night-lapse modes but I can attest the low-light is a huge improvement over the Hero 3. Definitely worth the price.
