I bought the Extension Cable after trying to mount the Karma Grip to my backpack strap. The Extension Cable eliminated the bulkiness of the Grip and allowed me to comfortably hike with the Grip tucked aside in my backpack. All the stabilization features of the Grip were preserved and my hike footage looked great. This is a must-have accessory for wearable mounts. I not only use it for hiking, but also for mountain biking. I can now concentrate on riding without having to worry about a big grip getting in the way

Anxiously Awaited GoPro Product

I've had the Karma grip for a few months and have been anxiously awaiting for this device because I use my GoPro mostly for hiking and biking. Holding the Karma gets tiring and while biking, it's too large to mount on the handle bar. This new device will allow me to remotely mount the actual grip so the gimbal and camera are on the handlebar, helmet or wherever.
The handle is also small enough to hold in your hand while hiking but not too small where it's uncomfortable.
The only thing that would make this device better is if the small handle that attaches to the gimbal also had the buttons to control the camera or at least the record button.
