I’ve been a GoPro user for the last year and a half or so. I started with the GoPro 8 and upgraded to this one. The 360 camera is a game changer and can shoot videos almost as if a drone is following you around (this works great for my biking videos). It also doubles as a regular camera if you don’t want the 360 footage. The GoPro app is easy to use with this camera as well. Transitioning from the 8 to this one was a breeze.

Only reason why i gave it a 4 star versus a 5 star is due to its bulkyness. Compared to some others like the insta 360 its very bulky and it gets annoyinging carrying around or mounting it to my bike. Otherwise its amazing video quality is great and sound quality is amazing! Im not sure if it was just mine but the battery life on it was terrible so i had to buy a extra one. Im not sure if its all of them but i know mine was like that. Either way for the price its an amazing camera!

Bought this camera for motorcycle footage and is absolutely perfect. Even feel off my bike and the rubber took all the damage, not a scratch on the lenses or screen and still works perfectly!

The GoPro MAX is a versatile camera that works as both a traditional GoPro and a 360 shooter. The 360 footage is sharp and immersive, and the ability to reframe shots after the fact is great for capturing action without worrying about perfect framing in the moment. Stabilization is excellent, and the audio quality is surprisingly good with the built-in mics.
I’ve used it for outdoor activities and travel, and it handles rough conditions well — water, dust, and bumps aren’t a problem. The only downsides are that stitching 360 footage can be time-consuming, and low-light performance isn’t as strong as daytime shooting.
Overall, the MAX is a solid choice if you want the GoPro durability combined with the creative flexibility of 360 capture. It’s not a replacement for a dedicated 8K 360 camera, but it’s an awesome all-in-one tool for most creators.

I bought this for motorcycle purposes. Havent had the chance to use it on any trips yet, but used it around town. It works exactly like it should. Be mindful that 360 will eat the battery up which is a bit disappointing, but buying a second battery is easy enough. Software for editing is a smidge more complicated and havent tried to do to much with it. Overall a great product. Moved to this from a gropro hero 7 silver.

I was looking at the GoPro 9 Black, but after watching review videos for this camera, I chose it instead because you’re really getting 2 cameras in one with this thing. Your getting a GoPro that has a lot of the same features as the 9, but with the added bonus of the 360… so it’s a win/win.
The footage is rock steady and it’s really easy to get going right out of the box. The phone app works great and after I spend more time learning how to edit the 360 video, I expect great results.

Purchased this for my son's 18th birthday. This camera is awesome! Sturdy, easy to use, great festures, and high quality videos and photos. 360° photo and video is remarkable. Wish they'd include all the accessories with the purhase. Nonetheless, we are quite happy.

The camera captures great video in 360, but the battery doesn’t last long at default settings. You’ll likely get around 20-30 minutes of recording time. GoPro lacks editing software for use on PC. For this price point that should be included.

Great action camera overall. Shoots in 180 degrees from both sides and smoothly connects them into a 360 degree video. Also outperforms other GoPro cameras in low light settings

This go bro camera takes excellent 360 video. It is one of the best 360 video cameras on the market today. The only downside is the software you use to edit the videos. The GoPro editing software is not intuitive is not user-friendly and basically is a pain. If you can overlook the editing software which you do not have to use what is recommended the camera is outstanding.

Ok, this one is one great camera.
The stitching of both lenses is done automatically of course, so any changes in light will be noticeable (low light and underwater).
It’s an excellent camera, however GoPro’s cloud, software, and customer service is AWFUL.
If you load to your phone, you can’t send the image to an external device only to the cloud.
If it didn’t load correctly, you can’t force the upload.
If it did load correctly, sometimes the cloud gets corrupted files and you can’t download them from the cloud anymore.
Add to that there isn’t a mac / windows software for the Quik app so your phone could easily talk to your PC.
Editing the 360 videos seems to be done only with their 360 GoPro player, so I opted for DaVinci resolve.
The cameras are amazing, however GoPro services will make you regret buying the camera.

The camera is amazing. Great clarity and stability. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is that GoPro is really bad at providing software for their cameras. It makes it hard to edit the shots and really is a black eye on an otherwise great camera.

This camera is a blast to take along and use for filming all sorts of activities. It has great color and clear pictures. I am not sure I will use the 360 option very often, but it's nice to have. It is very easy to use. I am glad I decided on this one.

Love this camera. I use it all the time. I wish it didn’t get so hot though sometimes while recording though but overall best camera ever especially for vlogging.
