Accidents happen. I've had prior GoPro camera lenses scratched. This protective cover is easy to remove and replace, keeping your video images nice and clean.

Never know when you're going to need it. Not having one is the difference between getting the shot and not getting it... because nobody wants their shot ruined by glare of the sun lighting up that nick in the glass that you should have fixed by installing this replacement! The price is worth it if you are serious about your video quality.

Not every shot calls for a full housing. It’s nice to be able to use the GoPro without it sometimes. It’s also nice to have the option to replace the lens cover. Fits like a glove.

Great product. Super easy to change out my old one and not expensive. I would only buy from Best Buy though. GoPro has horrible customer service!

If you are planning to use your GoPro Hero 5 as a action camera or with the Karma drone just go ahead and purchase the lense, you will not regret it. Fits Hero 6 also and just about all accessories are interchangeable between the two.

Purchased this new lens after a buddy kicked up a rock on the road and cracked my original one while on my motorcycle. The new lens popped right on and felt just as secure and tight as the original. Works fantastic with no hazing or lens defects! Glad to have my hero5 black back up and running like new!

After my GoPro flew off of my car going 70mph, the only thing that broke was the Lens cover. Bought a new one, installed it in minutes, and the camera was as good as new.

I decided to purchase the lens replacement for peace of mind. I travel a lot and decided to keep this in my kit just in case something happens to the lens - very easy to swap out and go. Decided against protective film because it may compromise the quality of my images.

This is the second lens that I've had to replace due to rocks hitting it during off-road tours. They fit perfectly but are still tempered glass so they are prone to breaking. I bought the classic clear case now to cover the camera and lens

When you use the dive casing on the Hero 5, you have to remove the protective lens. I lost it and you need it to protect the lens and to keep the GoPro waterproof without the dive case to 33 feet . The replacement worked great.

Can’t believe Best Buy sells the parts for gopro. Thank God.

The GoPro 5 and 6 do not come that outer case that protects the lens like the previous models. So getting this especially when it’s on clearance to replace a lens if anything was to happen is great to have!!

This is a must have piece, especially if your going to plan to rough upbthe camera just a little. Easy to replace and takes up little space.
