Found this card reader by accident and it's great to see my Gopro videos right away in the iPhone or the iPad and choose the ones I like more to save them and share. Nice little cover to take it everywhere.

So I read some of the reviews before purchasing this. First of all, the actual resolution of video you can use this with is LIMITED, it doesn't say so on the description, the only place where it say so is on the GoPro website itself, in fine prints. Second my unit was dead on arrival, much like a lot of the other reviewers here, it connects and ask for permission but doesn't actually do anything. This is certainly a quality control issue. I would not recommend this product at all, first you have to be lucky to get a working unit, some reviewer here is on their 5th to get it to work. Second if you shoot anything over 1080p this won't work, so forget it. Also the toggle itself won't work if you have a case over any of your apple product, the connector is very WIDE and very short.

Haven't had to use it much but what I did I really liked it.

Had a small issue with retrieving files. Found that 4K files couldn't be found for playback.

I love having this accessory for GoPro. I've always hated having to connect to the GoPro and downloading the photos that way. This made it much faster and much easier. Definitely worth the money!

Great job go GoPro on such a rugged little device that keeps your media in storage on the fly. Durable, Solid, Rugged that will withstand the elements and clips right onto your backpack or belt.

This was cheap and broke when I was using it for my trip to Easter Island. The first time I used it, I had to wiggle it around in the iphone charger port for the light to function and for the pop up to appear. The memory card gets stuck if you stick it in too far, and eventually after day 2, the card reader broke in half.

Such a great accesory to see the media on the go and even download to your iOS device.

This has been a great addition to help upload Gopro footage. Using this card reader I can preserve my battery and upload my photos and videos to my iPhone and iPad. Definitely worth it!

I purchased this for what I though would be a solution to import my photos from my camera as well as my gopro however it will only work with the gopro and the gopro app. There are other options that cost less, such as the USB to lightning cable.
