used this mount on a shotgon for hunting and it worked nicely. easy to use. built very well but a little heavy.

I mounted this on an old vietnam era Huey helicopter and had no concern that it would give way. It is very strong and well constructed. Since then, I've also mounted on machine guns and the side of a touring bus. It takes vibration well.

I tested this while trap shooting it worked great. You just need to train yourself to stay on target after you shoot so you're not looking at a lot of ground footage.

Makes life a lot easier when trying to film hunts.

I love my GoPro and this mount is a great addition to my collection giving me multiple mounting options on almost any situation.

Can't wait to put this mount on my gun when hunting season starts. Looks like it will be a great way to see who is the best shot!

would have liked to see gopro integrate this into the standard base screw instead of changing the back door, but overall good. I'm sure it was done to bring the housing closer to the mount. A bit expensive.

Clamp is easy to connect and disconnect. A little hard to get tight enough if sudden jerk motions are involved (shotgun).

I use this on the barrel of my 12 gauge shotgun and it holds very well even with the recoil of 3.5" magnum loads.

If you enjoy being creative and capturing life as it happens. This is your best and cheapest option.

I tried this on the barrel of my rifle to get a different point of view. Well it works but the video not so good! It would work great for other places but not on a rifle.

Couldn't be any better! I like the feature where you can hook up duel cameras on this too.

I need this to attach to my hunting bow. Works for what it was designed for!

This mount worked great for my bow and shotgun during deer hunting season. Was very easy to use and interchange between the 2 weapons.

I think all cameras are complicated but still sorting things out. The quality of pic is great- looking forward to using underwater!

This mount has multiple uses and has worked very well for me.

The sportsman was produced with particular uses in mind but don't let that stop you from buying one. The clip on this mount is super strong and very versatile. I have not even touched the surface of the options this mount has.
