I love this band. But this album is awful. I feel like I got ripped off. There are maybe only 3 good songs on the entire thing. The recording sounds terrible and the mixes suck

One of deftones weakest albums. I was expecting a lot more from this album since last album was amazing

I love Deftones, been a fan since Around the Fur, caught em a few times live.. Chino and co's migration towards moody noise and long drawn-out screamO delivery of lyrics is a shame. Sold this album to the Used Store a week after buying.

If you take the softer tracks from previous Deftones cds and made a whole album out of them all, Gore would be the result. I tend to prefer their higher energy stuff so this album was a let down for me. Really disappointing.

Deftones have really come full circle with their latest release "Gore" Ever since 1995 Deftones have been evolving from their start as a nu metal band. This album is no different. A few things I've really taken away after my first few listens is the use of poly-rhythmic drumming which is fairly rare for the band. This album's usage of electronics isn't as up front as their predecessor "Koi no Yokan". This album does hold through with there usage of the heavy soft format that they've become known for. Tracks like "Prayers-Triangles" really utilize Chino's clean vocals before dropping in with tracks like "Doomed User" that maintain an aggressive sound all the way through. The album is blended together very well as a whole and I feel that it's one of there best albums to date. You won't be disappointed.

Deftones have never let me down. They've been my favorite band since high school with Adrenaline album. All these years n they're still my favorite band. Gore is a good album. It's not my favorite, but it's good. It may be the lowest on the totem pole, in my opinion, but it's a good album. If you're a Deftones fan, you pretty much have to. If you're new to Deftones, maybe start with Diamond Eyes or Around the Fur, or my favorite, White Pony.

Gore is an album that not only let's us know that bands change with the time, but how a band can still manage to evolve, to become even greater. Every track is a well-placed journey into the mind and the vision of the vocalist. This album rocks, it took a lot of time, but this was worth the wait. Deftones is the band that will always bring happiness and emotional trips. Cheers for this awesome album.

While Deftones dont typically do the same cd over and over the last few to me have had too similar of a sound to be their usual lets do something new every time. It was nice to hear a album from them that sounded unique again.

I've been a fan since day 1. I don't think they'll ever top "Adrenaline", but they always put out solid releases.

I like every song on this CD so far. Chino delivers the smooth & sexy with his trademark wails and screams. The Deftones can do no wrong!
