This is a great detective anime for adults. It is rated TV-MA LV so don't let anyone under 16 or 17 watch it as it is quite dark in tone despite some comedic spots in the series. It is absolutely NOT for young children, so don't buy this for your young child and then trash it with a phony 1-star review going "Oh violence." or "Oh, language. This horrible show deserves one star." or some nonsense like that because it is YOUR responsibility to look up the ratings BEFORE you buy them. The different ratings are as follows: TV-G, TV-Y7, TV-Y7 FV, TV-PG, TV-14 LV, TV-14 LSV, TV-14 DLV, TV-14 DLSV TV-MA V, TV-MA L, TV-MA LV, TV-MA S, TV-MA LSV, TV-MA DLSV. If you're buying this for an adult or a 16 year old then that is ok. But if your 3 or 5 year old asks you to buy this series, it is YOUR responsibility to say "no, because it is for mature audiences. That's what MA means." I recommend it for adults or 16-17 year olds only.
