Gotham stands out among its contemporary DC brethren (e.g. Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, et al), not by taking itself too seriously, but by striking a perfect balance. It knows its inherently silly to see men and women prancing around in costumes, calling themselves by special names, but it never gives in to self-mockery. Season 4 is in good form, gently pushing Bruce to the forefront as the hero he'll eventually become. The cast continues to do well, in particular Sean Pertwee's Alfred and Ben McKenzie's James Gordon. Overall, a great show that continues to entertain.

I've enjoyed the first three seasons of Gotham, and was pleased by the fourth season, although some reviewers gave it poor marks. The show does a good job balancing the large ensemble cast. Although not every character gets an episode centered around him or her, I think most of the characters had good material to work with throughout the course of the season.

Great mixture of "Hill Street Blues" or "NYPD Blue" and DC origin Batman story-lines. Without gross Fish Mooney (sorry, Will Smith, husband of Jada Pinkett Smith), DC origin show improves on well-made Season 1 and all others. Every season (despite painfully hard-to-watch Fish Mooney) always made for enjoyable crime drama and DC Universe adventure.

At first I thought this show was going to be weak, but then it started and the villians started appearing aand I thought it was way different from the comics and I was upset. Then it stated getting great in this season I think. There were plenty of edge of my seat moments or the usual "just one more episode before bedtime" moments.

Season four of Gotham has its usual twists and turns.The characters t have grown with the years and still thrill you to this day. Young Bruce gets closer to the destiny we all know that is coming for him! And may I add (spoiler) we finally get our definite Joker!!!

I love how the writers create on the edge action-packed stories that bring back the diehard fans for more each week. By going into detail about the reasons behind the original superhero tales, it generates more interest in the overall storyline.

Gotham Season 4 was incredible. The storylines were amazing. All the main villains returned and even had a couple of additions. Most notably in the form of Sophia Falcone. We also see Jim Gordon rise in the ranks of GCPD. FOX has done a good job developing the characters, especially Bruce and Selina who are definitely growing toward their ultimate alter egos.

I am still playing catch up with Gotham because I thought it was not a good idea for a show. A family member convinced me to start watching and from there I really enjoyed seeing the rise of the future Batman villains. Show turned out better than I initially thought so if you are on the fence do check it out. Give one season a look and take it from there.

This TV series continues to be good, though this season is a little less interesting overall than last year. It still maintains the feel of the Batman movies though on a less grand scale. Just wish that the series would have taken the timeline closer & more complete in the change to Batman.

Gotham has definitely evolved into the comic world and moved away from the crime type drama it was the first 2 seasons. A natural evolution though of course and still some pretty good writing.

I love this show so much. Season 4 is so much better than Season 3 which was still good. But the second half of season 4 really gets crazy good. A must watch show for fans of Batman.

I really love watching Batman grow and evolve over the last four seasons. Batman is becoming the character of the Batman we all love as his character evolves. Loved the ending of this season.

I jumped on this deal as soon as I saw the price had dropped to $9.99. Total came out to be $8.99. Gave my friend the discs, kept the digital copy for myself. It’s a win - win situation.

This show is great! Really tells a different side of the characters and their back stories. I am dissapointed that the show will no longer be on tv, atleast i have my blue rays!

Gotham has brought together the relationship of Bruce Wayne and James Gordon in a very enjoyable storyline. I am glad to see it explore the Villain's back stories. Great Watch!!

great character creation & development & acting. tho creative license is used on iconic characters & origins in regards to the comics, it is still very well done & fun to watch

I've been following the series and just had to add it to my collection...cant wait to see how the series finally to ends...will definitely add to the rest of the collection

You are a BATMAN fan then you need to have all of the seasons of Gotham. Gives you all the background you want ... a shame that fox is stopping with season 5 ....

I found this to be the best season since season 2. This show continues to give interesting new takes on characters we love and keeps getting better all the time.

I LOVED the "Jokers". we finally get our definite Joker!!!. It does a great job of mixing up the villains, who are well written and quite interesting to follow.
