    They work just fine. You can choose in the app whether to control them over bluetooth or wifi. With bluetooth youll have to be relatively close obviously. I found that making changes to the color, brightness, etc. gave me pretty much the same delay on either connection method. I put both bulbs in my ceiling fan and made them a group so i dont have to change them individually. One point of note is if you plan on having them react to music, you must connect the app over bluetooth, and it will use your phone’s microphone to liaten for audio

    This product was easy to install and setup with the app and Alexa. Very responsive with very little time between commands. I’m not sure the longevity but so far so good. I do plan to buy more
