I’ve used quite a few LED lighting setups behind TVs, and the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite has easily been one of the better upgrades I’ve made to my setup. The lighting adds a completely different level of immersion to movies, shows, and especially gaming. The color syncing works surprisingly well, and once the camera is properly calibrated, the lighting follows what’s happening on the screen without feeling distracting. The colors are bright, the transitions are smooth, and the RGBICW lighting does a great job producing both vibrant colors and more natural-looking whites. Setup was pretty straightforward, although I would definitely recommend taking your time when installing the strip and calibrating the camera. Getting the camera positioned correctly and taking a few extra minutes with the calibration makes a noticeable difference in how accurately the colors match the screen. The Govee Home app is another big plus. There are a ton of customization options, and being able to adjust brightness, effects, sensitivity, and synchronization gives you plenty of control over how the lighting behaves. My favorite part is how much better the entire room feels when watching a movie or playing a game in a dark room. It gives the TV a much larger and more immersive appearance without having to spend a fortune on a high-end bias lighting system. There are a couple of minor things I would improve, mainly making the installation hardware/adhesive a little more foolproof and making the initial camera calibration even easier. But once everything is installed and dialed in, those are pretty minor complaints. For the price, this is an excellent upgrade if you want to make your TV setup feel more like a home theater. Highly recommended.

Easy set up, the darker the room the better, but it works just fine with some day light. The adhesive was coming off a bit, I added tape to reinforce it.

Awesome background light, the design is nice that fits 65" TV perfectly and easy to stick on the back of the TV. Come with clips to secure it too. The light changes color base on video on the TV is awesome and bright. Highly recommend this light for the TV.

Easy to setup and has lots of customizable features through the app. Connects to Alexa which makes it really convenient to use.

Great upgrade for a 65-inch TV! The colors are bright and sync very well with movies, shows, and games. Setup takes a few minutes, but the app makes calibration easy. It adds a much more immersive feel to the room, especially for movie nights. Excellent value for the price and highly recommended.

I really like my lights. They are fun to use and really give more of a theater feel to my tv. The lights work best in a darker room, against a white wall. Some adjusting is needed through the app. There is very little lag. I bought this for myself and one for my parents who enjoy it also.

Very hard to put on tv especially if it’s on the wall already. Would recommend for tvs on the ground or on a stand
