Previously viewed Gran Torino as a rental and was always looking to purchase it. Came in at the right price, but still wondered if I should have purchased the Blu Ray version.

His best work ever!!! Even better than Dirty Harry or his westerns... Except for Josey Wales maybe. This is a brilliant actor, writer, and director, and this story was told perfectly by him! A must see, especially if your a car person, but mostly for the story!

A retired Ford man lives in a neighborhood that has changed a lot over the years. His new neighbors are not to his liking due to their different ethnic background. He slowly befriends two of the neighbor children and does the ultimate sacrifice to help them.

Clint Eastwood at his best--as an old man. I like the contrast between the old white guy's life and that of the Hmong (think Viet Nam war). He doesn't actually like them but gets trapped into accepting them.

This movie is just hands down a straight classic! If you are a movie collector this movie is a must have! The story line is great! The moral is understandable and is something that happens in life!

I really enjoy all of Eastwood's movies but I think this is one of his best. You will never get tired of it because it has a mixture of serous situations and funny parts. A must have for any fan of Clint Eastwood.

A really true to life story. Not the typical fodder that comes from Hollywood. Not giving anything away but I will say this is no good guys win - bad guys die, Eastwood movie. Highly recommended! 5 stars, all the way!

I am a steelbook collector and I was amazed that I found this movie in the store. Gran Torino is one of my favorite films of all time! Thanks Best Buy for your awesome prices, I purchased this movie for $10!

Clint Eastwood plays a war veteran who befriends a young neighbor who tried to steal his Gran Torino. Not one of the strongest Eastwood movies, but still memorable.

A director with a curve. Like a fine wine, Clint Eastwood's acting and / directing is an acquired taste that is well worth the experience. Gran Torino was like that for me. My first viewing held my interest. My 2nd screening pulled me in. It's quiet impact build throughout the film to a great ending is his signature style. See for yourself.

Clint Eastwood delivers another stellar performance as a dying man who is befriended by a Korean boy and his family, who struggle with life amongst their own people.

Clint Eastwood made another great movie. I identified with the picked-on kids in the neighborhood. Clint was an angry old man, but showed some real great qualities as he got to know them.

Gran torino will make you cry. It's so touching and the relationship between Walls and Tao grows so much that the end is more than perfect. Great reflection.

Amazing writing, directorial work and what else could you expect from Mr. Eastwood... A must see, for sure! Can be great for a couple night in or for a whole family.

As usual Eastwood did an outstanding job in his portrayal of his character. He, although very tough at times showed his feelings for right and wrong and his comittment to it.

It was great to see what happens when we take time to understand differences in others and appreciate people for who they truly are. Amazing ending.
