Awesome graphics and game play. But too much to grind to purchase cars.

It was good until it wasn't. The game was fun in the beginning, grinding for credits wasn't that bad. I love Gran Tursimo but there are things that happened recently that made me put this game aside. First they updated the credit payouts to become even less than what they already are, pushing you towards spending your real money on in game credits to have enough to buy the cars. Then something happened that proved their always online model doesn't work. They took their servers down for almost 24 hours after that upate, so we all weren't able to do anything in game because they shut down their servers. Gran Turismo has always been more singlplayer like anyway. I don't quite understand why we couldnt have a single player and then a multiplayer option so that we could enjoy our game offline in times when we things go awry (like yesterdays incident). Anyway, I now am dreading the grind to save up for cars. If you're like me and harldy have time to grind, don't spend the 70 bucks on this. Find another racing sim.

The game is fun to play when you can play it. I was not a fan of the always online to be able to play a single player game. This is a single player game front and center with multiplayer on the side. There has always been a bit of a grind with the Gran Turismo games and this game is no exception. The grind has always been part of the fun because the more you race the better you get. The reason I am giving this game two stars is because they changed the game two weeks after launch. The developers made the game less reliant on grinding out races to buy cars and more reliant on real money micro transactions. The game with all the great reviews from major media companies is no longer here. This was a 4 to 5 star game when it first released now it is not even close.

This is, by far, the best racing game EVER made! I have been a huge GT fan since the original came out on PS One. It doesn't get any better than this. I LOVE THIS GAME!!

The game looks super realistic. The game plays great. If you love cars and grand Turismo you will love this game.

I don’t care what other gamers reviewers think. This game is car lounge, fine dining cars , original, and rewarding. Micro transactions deserve it if doesn’t interfere with online gaming competition license grade level. Go and buy if you can afford it all those cars. Now grinding should be balanced to unlock all cars otherwise I’ll play other racing games like rally 2.0 , assetto corsa competizion, iracing, drive club, and any . Graphics way better than gt sports . For all gran turismo fan we don’t miss bad or good games. Get it for sure they will patch it .

I am one of the old school gamers who played this series since the first one. There's been good and bad sequels to the first one, but this one so far is the one which reminded me the most of the first game. Of course, the graphics are now much improved, with 4K, ray tracing, etc, etc. So far I am really happy with my purchase.

Having a blast, feels as close to real driving as you will get with a controller. Beautiful game as well.

The core gameplay itself is great. Driving has never felt so real on a console. However, the aggressive MTX and grinding really soured the launch experience for me, so after putting in 10-12 hours, I sold it on eBay.

Gran Turismo 7 is unfortunately less a fun driving fantasy and more a system designed to get as much of your money as possible via microtransactions. -You earn credits slower than any previous Gran Turismo game in an effort to get you to buy credits with real money so you don't miss their time-limited car releases. -They even went so far as the release a patch that drastically reduces the amount of credits received from some races, to again push you towards microtransactions. -Wanted to sell your in game cars for credits to get a new car? Too bad, you can't do that anymore so you better just buy some credits via microtransactions! -Oh yeah, and it's always online and has been down for over 24 hours. This game is an absolute disgrace to the Gran Turismo name; I thought this franchise was above this. Sony and Polyphony Digital should be ashamed of this product.

Was always a fan of the GT series, I was excited for the next iteration of the game.

Amazing graphics, almost life like. Plenty of cars to choose from and more will be added with dlc.

This is the best racing game last year. Now it comes with PSVR2 compatibility as a welcome bonus and everything looks so real in VR.

Excellent graphics. If you're looking for single player, you'll complete it fairly quickly and credits are hard to come by for the expensive cars. You can't sell any cars you earn

Fun to play GT again but not as polished as I’d hoped. I feel with updates this will greatly improve but not nearly as fun as Forza games. Love the reality of this series though. A true challenging racing game.
