    Filmed in panorama.When Cinerama and panorama came out in the 60s and 70s it was breathtaking to see a film that brought the action right in front of your eyes this Blu-ray film brings all the magic right to your TV set at home.Its exciting action pack it’s great for the whole family

    While this is a move about a historical period of GRand Prix racing (late 60's), director John Frankenheimer used ground breaking techniques to capture the racing action that remain unrivaled to this day, and in fact would be impossible to replicate today due to much more limited access and safety restrictions. The extras included are nearly as entertaining as the movie itself and give you an behind the scenes look at the extraordinary lengths Frankenheimer went to, to film the racing scenes in a way that conveys the speed and brutality of Grand Prix racing in a way never done before, or since.

    One of the great action and memorable race car movies including James Garner and real race car drivers Graham Hill, Dan Gurney.

    Buy it. I cannot express more emphasis than that. I am 37 myself and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

    I love this movie, it was done in a time when Hollywood could get access to the live events. Making a movie like this now would take a series of minor miracles and logistically speaking, it would be impossible. The film features a superb cast, great acting, great locations (Monte Carlo opening scene is a real attention grabber) and great cinematography. It is amazing that with all that comes in this DVD (bonus footage etc) the price is only $9.99.
