Best grand theft auto ever, redefined, better game play, great story lines, it's got it all!

This game is so much fun. You can do pretty much anything, and the best part is the open world game play. Had the previous version GTA 4 and the graphics on this are much better. Also, I love how Rockstar comes out with free updates which include guns, cars, clothing and game modes. Fun to play solo or with group of friends.

Love the first person they've added to this game. It has a certain thumbs up for the different aspect of it coming into the gta series.

As a male in the 21-35 age range, I am the target demographic for the Grand Theft Auto series. And like previous GTA titles, GTA5 is a quality game with an interesting story, great gameplay, and plenty of replay value. If you are someone who isn't easily offended or shocked and enjoy games where you get to do things you're not allowed to do in real life, then you may very well enjoy this game. It is a fun escape from reality and one of those games that can really help you relieve stress and have fun. Like the title of this review states, the game is not at all intended for kids, due to the at-times excessive violence and profanity as well as nudity and adult themes to the story. As required by the ESRB, the association that ensures games are given age-appropriate ratings, the game's packaging clearly states why it is not for kids in a very similar fashion to how I just did. It is amazing to me that, despite how clearly it is stated that the game is not for kids, when you play GTA5's online mode, you find an overwhelming majority of kids playing the game. Luckily, I find the single-player mode to be much more enjoyable, plus the online mode has been designed and modified in such a way that the game developers "strongly encourage" you to utilize their micro transaction system in order to acquire new cars, weapons, or other items. I say strongly encourage because while you can sit there and play missions to earn money literally for hours in order to buy that cool car you've got your eye on, it is so much easier to just spend $60 on in-game money in order to buy that cool car and a new apartment, etc. The micro transaction system in online games is a growing trend, and an unfortunate one as well, since it applies a "pay-to-win" dynamic to games, where casual players with more money to spend can buy rewards that other more dedicated gamers spend time and effort working towards. But you can completely avoid that whole system as I do, and still enjoy the game. Plus those cool cars are much easier and cheaper to buy in the single-player mode, where game money is much more easily attainable. All in all, it's a good game. With hindsight, I could have easily convinced myself it was not worth $60, but as a $30 game, I think it's a good purchase. But not for kids.

This game is great! Super fun. Great graphics. Love the ability to play online with friends.

I've been a big fan of every grand theft auto games. I just never got to San Andreas. Overall, the game is great.

If you have had previous Grand Theft Auto games, then you know what to expect. If you haven't, do yourself a favor and grab this game.

Many option of transportation, nice cars, motorcycles, plane, jet ski's, boats and helicopters. Great missions and online mode.

We had this game for the 360 but have since upgraded to the One. Decided to buy it again finally and we can't stop playing it. I defiantly love this game! My husband and I actually take turns playing. I feel like they did an update of some sort to it. Seems like there are new cars and other things. We definitely love it.

Go get this game. It looks amazing and the gameplay is just so good. Gotta love that you can do just about anything you want in GTA.

Grand Theft Auto V was already a pretty sweet game on the last gen consoles, but it's even better on the Xbox One and Playstaion 4!

I had the Xbox 360 version and this one seems even better. An enjoyable game with lots to do; however it is geared toward adults.
