    I used this for both a Dell Latitude 5285 and an HP Spectre X360. Neither have video ports and the Dell only has 1 USB (1/2/3 port) and the HP no USB's (1/2/3) built in - just the USB C port. It makes their 2-in-1 form factor tiny and great, but lacking on the ports. If you present at all or want to connect these laptops to a monitor or TV - this is a must have. It's a perfect USB C accessory for USB 2/3; ethernet; HDMI; and VGA.

    I have a top line Dell Laptop that works really good, the problem is that It doesnt have a ethernet port or a VGA port when I need to connect to old gadgets. This adapter does the job right.

    The product does exactly what it says it will. If you don't want to take up your USB space for one thing use this otherwise a cheaper adapter would work too!
