Good movie, good quality, good sound and fair price on sale.

If you like the movie you'll love the HD and digital copy. I got it for my wife who loves it. I'm in the middle depending on my mood depends on how well I handle it.

I'm a music buff and just started collecting musical movies. Had to get this one for my collection. Really good movie and it is listed as the best selling musical ever...so; what's to not love, huh?

Always loved this movie and bought a copy of the movie on Laser Disc when it was first released. Blue Ray version is excellent with enhanced video and sound track. Quite happy with this.

This movie will not disappoint you, I remember watching this movie in the old vhS. This movie is great to watch with the family. This is the definition of old school with music.

I remember getting this on VHS, then DVD and now finally BluRay. Also, my screens kept getting bigger as the resolution increases. Good price, looks good, sounds good. Very good!

I previously owned Grease as a digital file and thought that the colors were 'updated/restored' quite well. The audio was crisp and everything all together felt like a real upgrade. Now I've watched the 4k UHD with all features enabled and it was entirely worth the purchase. The steelbook was more for nostalgia purposes because this comes in regular packaging as well. The image was outrageously vibrant, not saturated however. The color and toning has been restored and no longer appears washed out or 'hazy'. This is a very vivid film now that it's been 'calibrated''. At times, this is a bit distracting, especially at a larger screen size because it can feel overwhelming... 1/4 way into the film however my eyes adjusted or simply got used to the picture changes. The audio was phenomenal, it's Grease... it's a musical, the audio best be at it's height of performance and everything came through beautifully.

This musical along with Bye Bye Birdie are the finest and most enjoyable explorations of the mindless urban teen years in America. The songs are unforgettable.

"GREASE" is the most successful movie musical ever created. The 1978 film was based on a musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey and eventually caught the attention in the early 70's of producer Allan Carr who purchase the rights to adapt the play into a film. With the popularity of "SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER" in 1977 which help boost the career of John Travolta, producer Robert Stigwood joined Allan Carr to create a film based on this play. Tapping director Randal Kleiser who worked with Travolta in the popular 1976 TV film "The Boy and his Bubble", recruiting "GREASE" musical choreographer Patricia Birch and hiring Director of Photography Bill Butler ("Jaws", "Stripes" and "Rocky II & III", etc.), this team would create a film that would become a musical ingrained into American pop culture. Despite no respect in supporting the film by the major film studios, "GREASE" would become the second highest grossing film in 1978 behind "Superman" bringing in $96 million in the box office, the "GREASE" soundtrack would achieve #1 status around the world during its release and the film received many award nominations. VIDEO & AUDIO: "GREASE" is featured in 1080p High Definition and I will tell you I was blown away by the picture quality. I've watched this film dozens of times, owned the VHS and both DVD versions and when I started watching the High Definition Blu-ray transfer, I was speechless. The many colors featured in the film were quite vibrant. This film is over 30-years-old and Paramount really did a great service in the transfer and remaster of this film. Closeups, outdoor scenes, you name it, the film looks spectacular!

My little girl likes Grease but when she enter Best Buy and saw the 40 Anniversary Grease with a yearbook I can't resist to bought it.
