Oh another of my favorite horror sub genres….the killer shark movie. Love these! Familiar plot…a seaplane with 5 tourists gets stranded on the ocean after a freak accident and must survive in a raft in the waters surrounded by killer sharks! I can’t get enough of these!! Katrina Bowden is the main attraction here and is the only one you don’t want to see get eaten, so that drives what is really a most familiar scenario of these type of movies. But the sheer terror of knowing a shark is around and you can’t see it, that does it for me every time! Not the best shark movie I’ve ever seen, but I’d give it at least a 7 out of 10.

Pleasing looking Blu-ray released by RLJE. As a fan of Jaws and shark movies, I found this one (Australian produced) to be enjoyable despite not expecting much. Forewarning, there’s some story details that aren’t all that believable, or even feasible (realistic). If you can look past it, and like shark movies in general, you might enjoy this also.

Great White is a great movie if we had more story. Otherwise it reminds that we are the visitors to the ocean and they are the apex predators. Even though the shark was mechanical it looked a lot like CGI.

Actually it’s not a bad shark movie , of course there are some impossible moments but all around it’s entertaining

Not on par with Jaws but then again, what shark movie is? Very similar to Open Water 3 with sharks stalking characters adrift in an inflatable life raft. Characters make dumb decisions but we watch these movies to see sharks eat these people. Fun way to spend 90 minutes.

A group of tourists take a flight out to an island. They notice a boat at one different island, and decide to land. Well that was a mistake. A few of the actors are devious, as the group tries to survive, interesting tactics on survival are seen. I enjoyed the different ways they try to stay alive against the great white sharks.

Good movie. I bought it as a gift for my daughter as she likes shark movies.

It was a very good movie and very well done. I would recommend it.

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

This is another one of those Jaws movies that will keep you out of the water. Plenty of action and drama. Definitely will keep you on the edge of your seat. Loved it.
