The interface needs some work. The 5Star button is too easily hit by mistake and it can't be repositioned. You can add/delete home screen shortcuts. The initial setup required a couple of tech support calls. The phone is painfully slow by modern standards. The speaker is weak. The services they offer and price makes it worthy of consideration.

Phone for my 85 year old dad. Bit of a learning curve for him but so far it's good. Could be easier to navigate. But not awful. Greatcall wants to sell you stuff so watch it.

This was purchased for my mother-in-law who just turned 88. I know that the Jitterbug promotes ease of use for the older generation, but not for my mother-in-law. She really could never get the hang of using it and eventually brought it back to Best Buy. Best Buy was kind enough to exchange it for a Jitterbug flip phone.

great simple to use smartphone. nothing more you will need. no contracts. can change plans .

I love this phone. The Jitterbug Smart Cell Phone is so easy to use and the words are big enough for us to see. And the best thing of all it comes with a wonderful book of directions with big print. Believe me you will love it

Perfect fit for my parents who are in their 70's and first smart phone. Large screen, easy to set up and navigate.

Bought this smart phone for my elderly mother, was easy to set up/use, has larger screen/text/buttons. Should be easy for her to use as a first cell phone. Was easy to activate, had some issues using their online activation but over the phone service was great. Beware the taxes and fees added another $10 per month to their advertised prices.

This phone is perfect for my situation. Large numbers, don't have to remember passwords, easy to use. I just want a phone, no internet, no Google maps... although this phone is capable of all that, I have a Garmin GPS, and I have a Samsung tablet, I just needed a phone with no extra charges! This phone is ideal for me!

I like the phone very much. Easy to see and well laid out. The two complaint I have are related to answering it. if the phone is in sleep mode it is hard to answer since the answer is up at the very top and close to decline. Second when I need to answer it not in sleep mode the swipe action does not react well. In both cases I can not answer it fast enough to get the call. Since this is designed for the old population it should have an easier option.

This phone has large fonts and an large home menu that are supposed to make it easy to use for older or vision impaired users. Basic calling is relatively easy but that's where it ends. Even with the online videos available from the service provider, most other smart phone functions such as texting and sending pictures with text or using the camera are not very intuitive or easy to use. Standard Android phones are a lot easier to use.

This is a wonderful phone for first time smart phone users. Easy to use and simple instructions to get started. The customer service folks are great and very helpful and understanding. My only disappointment is that the camera does not take very good pictures. Grainy and poor quality.

Despite some problems getting the driver installed, the unit worked as it should, allowing installation of program files received on a disk. I haven't tried copying to a blank disk, but it should work. Kudos to the Best Buy employee who found the last one in the store for me

This looks good. The set up on the computer did not work and had to go to the phone. Such a kind and patient person on the line.It is for my husband who is 88. I am hopeful I can teach him how to use it. So basic. And the voice to text will really help. I expect the minutes to roll over so I can lower the monthly. But need to start up with enough to download apps like ESPN. I feel better he has the 5* with him.

This phone is fairly easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars, however, setting up things like notifications and banners is more complicated that it needs to be. That said, Great Call has really good customer service and responded well to our calls for help. It really could use a more detailed guide, but being the phone is primarily aimed at the senior population, they are probably trying to keep it simple.

This was purchased for a 96yr old dad, he previously had the jiggerbug flip phone, after service was turn on with little instructions he was using it and love the big screen. He choose not to do texting or to have data. Really a simple phone to use. So far he loves it.

This phone is much easier to use than my previous ines were. The numbers are much bigger.
