A good movie about building a relationship/friendship with somebody out of your comfort zones and in how bad things were in the Southern States in the early 69s, under “Jim Crow.”

This movie is about a bouncer who is hired to escort a black musician around the south. At first, he does not care for his employer but gradually understands him and bonds with him.

I didn't know what to expect when I watched this movie and I was happily surprised. It makes you feel things and think about things that you wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

The blu-ray does not differ significantly from this 4K disc. The blacks are deeper and the resolution was upscaled to 4k. Overall very good upgrade from standard blu-ray!

Trying not to biased since I love nearly everything Morrison is in. But the film is solid all the way through. But the acting definitely stole the spotlight for me.

Its a true story movie that resonates such a true life experience that happened in a time when things were upside down. Great actors that portrayed real life people.

It's an honour to see a movie like this and to be very honest this movie is hands down one of the very best that I've had pleasure to watch. I like how they first portrayed Viggo Mortensen's character as kind of a dick and but soon you get to realise that he is totally opposite of that and i was totally in love with his character. Secondly, Maharshala Ali's character is also portrayed perfectly and we are shown what he and the whole African-American community goes through even though they maybe a famous personality. Thirdly, the whole picturisation and cinematography was as crisp as the KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN they have in KENTUCKY(Who thought that was possible?) and I can't believe i am saying this again but it made me genuinely fall in love with the movie. Whole cast eventhough Tony's family is only in it for less than 15 minutes but still they were perfect. I can't see any other person who might be a better fit to the characters of Tony and Dr. Shirley. The soundtrack was great, the performance from Maharshala Ali on the Piano was fantastic! And you get the point the movie was downright perfect! Easily in my top 5 and its not even an exaggeration.

A friendship to be shared with the world. A story so good, entertaining and educational should not be missed. Actors engulfed the persons involved in this well told story.

I really enjoyed this movie. I knew I wanted to see it when I saw the ads for it on TV before it won the Oscar for Best Picture and I wasn't disappointed. I recommend it.

My 20-year-old son requested this for Christmas. Delivery was quick at a great price. Appreciate Best Buy having a good selection online of movies and music.

Enjoyable movie but some content is irritating that we havn't been able to move past some of the prejudices that plaques us as a nation. Worse then< but still lingers.

Seems like a bit of an adaptation on "Driving Miss Daisy," but an enjoyable movie nonetheless and one in which the character development and plot line is well done.

Great movie! After watching I can see why this movie won awards. Great acting! The early 60’s period portrayed in this movie is spot on! Definitely worth a purchase!

This movie is very detailed! From start to finish the amusement the story line, learning and being able to experience it and feel like you are actually there is amazing

It was easy to see why this movie was nominated for so many awards. I really enjoyed following the story and everyone did an excellent job portraying their characters.

Nice period piece movie on the same line as Driving Miss Daisy. Thoroughly enjoyed to see two people from disparate backgrounds see through their own prejudices.

I give this a "high five" for directing, performing, dialogue, and cinematography. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Viggo I this slightly different role. Thanks to all!

Really did know much about this movie in advance but knew it received awards. I am so glad I purchased it was one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time!
