Disturbing movie. Not for the squeamish or faint of heart. Totally unsuitable for children. But still, the movie is a entertaining movie

This by no means is a perfect horror film, but if you like some comedy in your horror and a lot of gore, this may be the film for you.

Pretty messed up movie the things that they do in this movie are pretty messed up very original must have for the horror movie buff

This is not for everyone, especially people with weak stomach's. Good movie though and scary to think this could happen in real life.

I didn't see this before I bought it. It was good to see once but had I seen it prior to purchase I don't think I would have bought it

Well done ....for those who understand nature's wrath. Well put together great settings,the end very surprising and interesting.

The acting was so so, but the movie was intense and very entertaining. A very nice tribute to Cannibal Holocaust from the 70's.

Although not his best, still an entertaining movie. If you get the chance check out Eli's inspiration The Cannibal Holocaust.

It is an interesting movie with an international cast including the people of the Amazon Region. The plot & it has a plot explores exploitation of the Amazon & female genital mutation. The college kids were do gooders who should have never been there. They were victims of the companies competing to exploit the region. Beyond that, see the movie & decide who the culprits are.

First of all, I saw this movie in theaters and wanted to buy it when it came out on DVD. Best Buy was the ONLY store in my area that actually had the DVD in-store on the release date! Second, this movie was clearly made as an homage to Cannibal Holocaust. I thought the movie was great. The gore effects were fantastic. Not only that, but there were fun parts of dark humor sprinkled in that I really enjoyed.

Eli Roth presents a team of extreme liberals bent on saving people that don't need saving. Graphic content within.

Eli Roth does a great job with all of his films. Though this is a gory film, overall it was still pretty good.

...good homage to Cannibal Holocaust/Cannibal Ferox and their ilk. Very gory, so not for the squeamish!

Eli Roth's watered down tip of the hat to the '80s cannibal genre: Ruggero Deodato, Umberto Lenzi, Michele Massimo Tarantini, et. al. Higher tech gratuitous gore than the originals, English screaming actors without the off-sync dubbing, not as gritty, almost none of the gratuitous nudity. So hard to recommend over the originals. For fans of the genre only!

So this film was teased in such a way Eli Roth fils are. And then delayed. And then teased some more. I actually thought it was a decent horror movie - but that's it. There were some throwaway scenes for 'shock' or 'disgust' than cheapened the tension. Eli was the one who rose the stakes, should have the best eye how to beat it again. It wasn't this movie.

I'm a huge fan of zombie/horror/suspense movies, and although this movie is quite campy, it's pretty good.

I love scary movies and this is one I would recommend to a friend

Unapologetically gory, over-the-top and campy. It has that B movie kind of feel but better quality.

Needed to buy movies for my daughter for Christmas. She loves horror so I went with this one.
