Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an employee of Best Buy and have been able to use the Greenworks Drill/Driver and Impact Driver while doing some improvement projects around my home. Unboxing the product, as an eco-conscious person, I appreciate that there isn't a lot of unnecessary packaging. The carrying bag is almost the exact same size as the box it comes in and easily holds all items that are included. As for features, there are so many I never realized I needed until I tried these out! Greenworks really thought of everything. First, I appreciate that these are very lightweight, especially in tight and awkward spaces. At the same time are powerful and quickly outpaced my old power drill no question. I specifically like that the drill has 2 speed modes so I can adjust to the type of job I'm doing. Both drill and driver have a task light that activates when the trigger is pulled so that working in low light is never an issue. This comes with a dual battery charger that can be wall mounted to save space - I appreciate this with all the clutter in my garage. The batteries are interchangeable for both drill and driver so you can easily swap to a 2nd battery when you're doing a bigger project. The battery has a charge level indicator which is incredibly helpful so I'm not disappointed that I have a dead battery when I go to start a project. Each battery can also be used as a portable power bank as it has a standard 3.0 USB port on it - a great bonus feature if I need to charge my phone or tablet. Overall, I love that I can feel and see the quality when comparing it to drills that I've used in the past. Definitely would recommend!

Ability to perform everyday drilling tasks and then switch over to the impact driver for heavy duty driving. Greenworks tools have stood up.

I'm used to my corded drill, so these electric pieces were a lot more user friendly than I'm used to. Not quite as powerful as my corded drill, but it gets the job done.

Store states I’m past return status… this was a Christmas gift and it’s barely been a month 2 batteries and neither work….

The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owner’s manual period from the date of purchase.
