Posted .Hello Sandi. We are sorry to hear the pressure washer did not meet your needs. The PSI of the unit is manipulated by the nozzle tip. The nozzle ha a 5-in-1 Adjustable Nozzle - Choose from 0°, 15°, 25°, 40°. We have included an video showing how to attach the nozzle, once attached set the the dial to the appropriate setting. For effectively cleaning the undercarriage of your car with a pressure washer, a 25-degree (green) nozzle is a good choice, as it provides a wider spray pattern and more powerful cleaning action without being too aggressive. A 40-degree (white) nozzle is also a good option and is generally considered safe for car surfaces.
