I purchased this during the Memorial Day 2021 holiday. The packaging was dismal. The battery and the charger were not secured within the box. These critical two components were free to shift and bumped around in the box. I had this polesaw, battery, and charger bundle shipped to me. This bundle should never be shipped so haphazardly. This is shameful packaging. If any component of my bundle is damaged due to the careless packaging i will be going to my closest Best Buy for a refund.

Excellent Chainsaw - Lightweight and Easy to Use

Super easy to use and I was able to clean up our tress and shrubs in record time. I was surprised at how nicely it can cut through hefty branches (6-8 inches) so I was able to use it on more of our tree than I thought I would. Another perk is that its pretty lightweight and can easily be broken down and stored, which I appreciate as we do not have much extra garage space. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

I didn't have problems with the chain coming loose because I read the user manual that discussed the need to monitor for tightness. Note that there is an online user manual that's more complete than the paper version included in the package. There won't be a 4th use as the pole segment closest to the battery got very slightly bent during the last use. My guess is that the bend was enough to disrupt the electrical circuit inside the pole. So it's a good tool but could be a bit more rugged given its intended use.

It was lightweight and easy to use. My only issue is the lower Ah on the battery. I am worried the battery will lose power overtime. Overall, very happy with this purchase!

After using this electric polesaw I can't believe I didn't make the switch sooner. I've trimmed about 20 trees so far and the Greenworks saw has been a life saver! Quality seems excellent and has made cleaning up my property a breeze. Would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Posted .Hello chain - New chains tend to stretch; so be sure to check the chain tension frequently and tension as required. However, be sure to never tension a warm chain before storing as chains shrink when cooling and this can damage the chain, bar and saw. Please ensure that when you remove the side cover that all parts are there and in order. The parts are imperative when it comes to keeping the chain on. Hope this suggestion helps! Our yard has a lot of woods and ever since we got this tool my husband has been obsessed with clearing dead branches, or nuisance branches that we were ducking under while mowing. While he has primarily used this for small branches, it has been able to handle larger branches of about 6" in thickness as well.
