Didn't expect Best Buy to sell a lawnmower, and it is a GREAT one! Looking to replace my 4 yrs old electric lawnmower that just went dead and so happy to find this on Best Buy and it was delivered in 2 days. While it is a bit heavier due to the self-propelled engine, assembly was easy and it was up for first cutting in no time. The battery is a bit large in size but it was able to let me cut my front and backyard in one setting and still have a little power left. The charger is a bit noisy but it's fast charging to full in ~45 min. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the delivery. While I'm happy with the 2-day delivery, it was delivered without any notification, with someone dropped it off in front of my garage door (not even at my front door) that was sitting in the driveway. Even worst is that the box was completely damaged and pretty much opened. I just bumped into it as I was going out and surprised to find it sitting in my driveway.

After being a homeowner for 10+ years, we finally decided to get our own lawn mower and stop paying someone to mow the lawn. So glad Best Buy sells Greenworks lawn mowers now!! Had no idea. Mowed the lawn for the first time ever with Greenworks electric lawn mower. Chose Greenworks because it's electric and I already use their snow thrower with great results. Such a wonderful experience using the Greenworks electric lawn mower. Powerful and made quick work of thick overgrown lawn grass. Also since its battery powered there is NO gas, NO fumes, very little maintenance. Highly, highly recommend Greenworks line of electric snow blowers and lawn mowers!! My only bad experience was an extra extra long wait on customer service line when I had a question. BUT still rating 5 starts since the customer service rep was extremely polite, professional, and helpful.

I currently have the Greenworks 80V Trimmer, 80V Blower and 80V Roto Tiller. The 80V mower is a welcome addition to the collection. My 12 yr old uses these to maintain yards in our neighborhood. With the global warming and local restrictions on gas powered lawn equipment the Greenworks brand has proven to be reliable. We purchased the Trimmer and Blower in 2015 because my son said the exhaust from the gas powered one was making him sick. They are still running strong.

Very high quality construction the electric mower is well balance and easy to maneuver through the yard

I've only used this a couple times so far, but it's definitely met my expectations. Assembly is easy. Operation is quick and easy. It cuts very well. My yard is small, but it cut it twice on one charge. The grass catcher fills up quickly, but I don't find that a fault. I stopped using the catcher because of how quick it filled up, and I think that contributed to it stalling a few times. I'm coming from a push reel mower, so just about anything is better as far as cutting goes, but I'm very happy with how quiet this is, plus no gas and pretty much no maintenance. I put 4/5 on value because it is expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Battery is dead not charging at all after one session used

I love my Greenworks Self Propelled Cordless Lawn Mower!!! This is the first lawn mower that I really feel comfortable is using. There is no messing with gasoline or pulling on a cord to start. It is so easy--just walk behind it as it is self propelled. The battery lasts for mowing my entire yard. It folds up for easy storage. What more could I ask for.

After using this battery powered mower, I am convinced that I will never go back to a gas mower. This mower is powerful and starts by pushing a button. It cuts smoothly and evenly with very little effort. My property is hilly but it has no problem with it. My only regret is that I ordered an additional battery directly from Greenworks thinking that I would need a backup to be charging when the included battery ran out, but I really didn’t need it. I have mowed my lawn twice and the battery is still going strong. Strongly recommended and a great way to cut down pollution!

Love this mower. The reason for four stars instead of five is because this is an older model that does not have the turbo button. I have thick patches of lawn, by the time the motor senses the thickness for turbo, I have to back up and redo it. Other than that, it does a great job. I've had it for about three years. I use a 2amp and a 4amp battery for a hilly 1/2 acre lawn.

I Love it!!! This is the best lawn mower I have ever owned. Its not too loud and cuts my lawn easily. The one drawback I have is that it seems that the self-propelled feature has grown less powerful over time, but it was a little too fast at first anyway. Go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it.

Works great. Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like but I still feel like I got my money's worth. I've used this for over a year and it still runs great.

Excellent, clean cutting lines. Light weight, so I don’t need the self-propel mechanism. Medium sized yard, plenty of battery life. Battery is a little difficult to get out of the mower, hopefully that’s a me issue and not a design problem.

Great lawn mower. Much quieter than a gas powered one, with the same amount of power and torque when using self propelled power. The battery is large enough to allow me to mow the front and back yard on a single full charge.

Just set this up, was able to mow almost an acre before the battery died! Grass was moderately high and I didn’t use bag, but very impressed none the least. The biggest plus is the noise level compared to a gas mower…so much quieter. I will update review if anything changes but so far impressed…

Very easy to use. 4ah battery charges quickly and I can do my medium sized front and back yards in 1 charge with about 1/3 of the battery left. Makes easy work of my grass and picks up leaves pretty well. I got it on sale for $399 and I believe it was a steal! Going electric was the best decision. I love that I can stop if I need to and not worry about pulling chords to start again, just the ease of pushing a button.

Mower is better in every way than I thought it would be. Easy to start and use, does a great job. The battery lasts for my entire lawn. Very satisfied.

Works well, but started to rust Battery still working

Very easy assembly. Easy to use. Love it that it stores so easily in a small space. Battery life is more than sufficient. Plenty of power!

Excellent lawnmower. I have a 2-story walkout with a moderate size lawn (takes about 1:20 to mow) and have had no issues with the battery lasting for the whole time. The RPMs are fantastic and I haven't had to bag yet - it mulches fantastically. The mower is built well and I find the build to be equivalent to my Husqvarna. I love how quiet it is! Super pleased with the purchase ... especially at the great sale price!

Easy to assemble and operate, powerful, fast charging. Battery lasts long enough to finish a job on my 1/4 acre front lawn.
