Heavy Shovel

The first thing I tried was the shovel for the sidewalk. I am a strong woman even in my older years and after five minutes of trying to push thru 7 inches of heavy snow I decided it was easier to manually shovel as I have done for many years. Getting up there in age I was looking for something to make snow removal easier. This was not the solution. Based on the shovel performance I didn't even try the blower. Packed it up and returned to the store.

Great for smaller areas

I purchase specifically for use on the patio pavers and smaller areas where my larger gas blower and even my regular shovel won’t fit or could scare the paver bricks. Good for cutting along the structures and objects to allow the larger blower to get in there without damaging said structures and items.

The auger on an electric snow shovel contacts the ground as you push it through the snow, so they are not as useful to clear snow on uneven or unpaved ground. Heavy, wet, or compacted snow, such as the dense snow left at the base of driveways after plowing, can be challenging for this type of equipment.
For these conditions, the 80V 24" dual-stage snow blower would be a better option, as it is specifically designed to handle heavy snow. In general, any single-stage snow blower may struggle with the load left behind by snowplows.
