This snow blower is small(er), but it works pretty well especially if you snow blow prior to getting a foot or so of snow. It will still work in over a foot of snow, but it will be slower going to get through it. It is a manual push blower. Overall, it has worked well. I suggest turning it off and on while making passes to conserve the battery power. It starts right up easily with a push of a button and pulling on the handle level. Personally, the size is nice. I would not go to a model that is smaller.

It works but does not remove all the snow. It leaves a few mm of snow on the ground. It doesn't blow the snow 20 ft. At most it's 10 ft. with wet snow. Powder snow is 3-4 ft. without wind. Even if there's a little breeze, it'll blow all over the place. The motor is fairly strong. I was able to remove a week old snow in freezing temperature. Battery last about half hour continuous use. I recommend at least two batteries. Assembly is pretty straight forward. I was able to do it without instructions in about 20 mins.

Hello Annie. We appreciate your feedback, reviews like yours allow us to address our customers’ needs and concerns. If you feel that that snow blower doesn't clear the snow all the way to the ground, you might be moving too fast for the snow conditions, try slowing down a little. We are sorry to read that you are not completely satisfied with the distances at which snow was thrown. The distance a snow blower can throw is dependent on the type of snow. For example, light / fluffy snow will have a greater throwing distance in comparison to wet / heavy snowfalls. Wet and heavy will draw more power from the battery, if you are using the unit in wet snow, adjust the height of the snow stream by raising the chute deflector, allowing the maximum amount of wet snow to be discharged. Regularly clean and lubricate your snowblower to ensure optimal performance. We hope this information provides a better user experience. If you have any questions or concerns about our products, contact Greenworks via Live chat on our website (www.greenworkstools.com), call Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934 or refer to the FAQ ask section of the tool or ask us a question, anytime.

This product is honestly great and easy to put together. Love that its battery life is impressive. I was about to plow my driveway, neighbor’s and sidewalk and still had better life left. This product gained my trust to purchase more products. I did think that the snow was harder to plow when wet/slushy but maybe that’s a common known thing.

Easy to setup. We just had four inches here and this was able to handle it just fine. I've used it twice for my drive way and I haven't need to charge the battery yet.

Great price. I bought this when it was the deal of the day and it was $250 off. Set-up was not bad but I would suggest a second pair of hands to line things up. We only used it once so far in 4-5 inches of snow and it worked great. Total time was about 40 minutes and we still had power. I also bought a second battery and there is a battery storage slot next to the battery you plug in. So if you have a large area to plow you can swap batteries out easily. Battery charge time was about an hour.

I waited until we got a wet, heavy, slushy snow to write this review. First complaint is that the written instructions to put together were not very good. However, it was pretty easy to figure out, so not a big deal. The blower handled the aforementioned snow pretty well. The chute got clogged a few times, and the throwing distance also kept decreasing because of this, but it did impressively handle the snow. The second complaint would be the battery life with this tough snow. I couldn't finish our 2-car driveway that is about 50 feet long. I'm hopeful it will be able to last when there is some more powdery snow. So far, a good value for the price I paid.

Got to try this out over the last few days after an inch or so of ice pallets followed by 6 to 8 Incheses of snow. It's performance frankly exceeded my expectations. It really was easy to use and did a great job. Because I have a long driveway with a 3-door pad in front of the garage I needed to use a second battery after the first one was completely discharged but it has space in the battery compartment to hole a second battery as a spare.

Picked this up as my gas snowblower needs service and I have no way to get it anywhere for servicing. The throw is much further when you're throwing straight in front of you than when you're throwing to the side, was hoping for a greater side throw. The battery doesn't seem to last as long as I'd hoped so you should consider a backup battery, as I did after reading other reviews. Also, the battery charging time listed is deceiving, as you have to let the battery cool down after use before you can recharge it.

The snow thrower is of high quality and is recommended for those who are tired of dealing with gas-powered models. It has the capability to effectively handle heavy and wet snow. The battery has a lifespan of approximately one and a half hours with continuous usage.

Im happy with this purchase. It got the job done with the recent MN snow storm of about 10” or a little more of snow fall. It’s light and easy to use. I did have to help push it but still happy it got the job done. Better with this than by hand.

Used it twice so understand that…also I have the lawn mower and the edger so I have extra batteries and chargers
First time there was 2 inches of powder snow and I was able to clear 2 houses and aidewalks between them (about 1000 feet). It was awesome. Finished the whole job on 1 battery
Second time we had about 4 inches and a little wetter. The difference in inches did nothing to slow it down but an additional battery was required.
If you purchase this version with only one battery, you may need to recharge but other than that it is fantastic. I had a two stage gas powered thrower before and while this does not throw snow the length of a 3 car driveway it gets the job done. Way easier to control and push even without powered wheels. Plus its super quiet.

Real unpaid review here, I absolutely love my snowblower. It works great with just a little bit of snow and will also power through 6”-8” with no problem. I also bought the extra battery because the backup battery storage has come in really handy. I live in Michigan and it snows at random but this thing was worth the money.

Had enough trying to warm up gas snow blowers and bought this on a deal of the day sale. Able to clear 10 inch snowfall without difficulty if patient. A little concerned about the rotors being plastic and see some wear after the first year. Not going back to gas propelled.

Hello Elephantshoes. Thank you for choosing Greenworks Tools. We are happy to hear you are overall happy with the 80v snow blower. Although we use plastic for some part of machine, the material is polyethylene plastic, which is a durable material that is resistant to wear and tear and can last a long time under normal use. A snow blower scraper blade needs replacement every few seasons, sometimes more, depending on frequency of use and how much it wears. To preserve the machine, properly store your Greenworks snow blower for the off-season, clean it thoroughly, remove and store the battery separately (fully charged), and store it in a dry, cool, and protected location like a garage or shed. We hope these tips. If you ever have specific questions or concerns about our products, contact Greenworks via Live chat on our website (www.greenworkstools.com), call us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or refer to the FAQ ask section of the tool or ask us a question, anytime.
