Handled both with ease. I usually try to clear the snow once it gets to no more than 4-5 inches at most so far, so not sure how it will perform in deeper snow but I can highly recommend if you have a smaller driveway/sidewalk setup and can clear things before it gets too deep.

It didn’t blow it as far away as desired, so one winds up making more runs back and forth than on the gas powered counterparts.

Snowblower for Greenworks Batteries. 40v

Unfortunately, delivered box was damaged and decided to return it. I would suggest store pick up for large item like this to ensure product is in good order.

Had about 5 inches of heavy, wet snow and figured it would be a good test. We have a large driveway and it did a great job. You definitely need to have more than 1 battery for larger driveways. Found out that it works with any masterforce and green works 80v batteries. We had several other 80v 2ah batteries that provided the power to finish the drive. The 2ah batteries worked just fine.

Seems like the box was opened before it came to me, because it did not look like factory packaged. and I'm missing one bolt that holds the chute controller; I contacted Greenworks, and they are sending me a spare bolt soon.

You can control the throwing distance by varying the angle of the shovel while pushing it, adjusting your pushing speed, and managing the amount of snow you scoop up at once; pushing at a shallower angle and with less snow will generally result in a shorter throw, while a steeper angle and a full scoop will throw snow further. Important considerations are the snow consistency and Terrain. Snow consistency. Different types of snow (powdery vs. wet) can affect how far it throws, so adjust your technique accordingly. Terrain. Uneven surfaces might impact the throwing distance, so be mindful of your path. We do not make a cover to lower the flow of the snow. We appreciate this suggestion and will pass it along.
