Awesome snowblower! Tried this on some very slushy snow and it threw just as far if not farther than my old stinky gas powered blower (your mother was a snowblower!). Impressive unit here, highly recommend!!

Worked ONCE! now I have a blinking red light and battery will not charge. I kept the charger dry and indoors. battery was removed from blower immediately after use and not just kept on the charger.
To give minor positive note, the single time it did work, it did the job easily and as expected.
Product is garbage now, support is impossible. I feel like I have thrown my money away.

Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

Bought this on a day we were supposed to receive 8 inch. Took it home only to find out parts was missing. Returned the item within the same hour only to realize someone returned the same item for missing parts. So since there was no more in stock they allowed to get the parts needed. Once assembled I couldn’t get it to start. Big waste of time……Took it back.

Several cons, 1 minor pro
Pro - Easy to assemble, with the right guidance
Cons - Assembly instructions that came with it are worthless, seemed to be written by someone that have never put one together. HOWEVER, several YouTube videos make putting this together a snap, very easy to assemble once you ignore the boxed instructions and follow the video.
- the feature on this specify this is a "rapid" recharge battery that charges in 30 minutes. The Greenworks paperwork that comes with either the batter or the charger (2 different documents) both specify the charging time is 60 minutes. I didn't time charging on mine, so I can't be sure, but their own documentation says 60 minutes, and the outside of the box itself says 60 minutes. (That false claim could be Best Buy's fault).
- Given warnings on these types of items, I put it together and tried it out on the 1 inch of snow on the ground. It kind of worked, in that it instantly started and everything looked good, but the fully charged battery operated blower expelled the 1 inch of snow between 3-4 feet. I wasn't expecting the "up to 20 feet" of expelled snow, but that poor of a discharge distance makes this pretty much worthless. I did call customer service and she said that is not normal, so I guess this one is going back to Best Buy. (BTW, I love my Greenworks mower, but maybe their quality control on snowblowers is not as good).

I can’t really say if this is a good snow blower because it never worked. I spent about an hour putting the thing together and when I put the battery in there was no indication of the machine actually getting power. The headlights never came on and the thrower never turned. Spoke with greenworks customer service for about 30 minutes before they finally said it sounded like the mother board was defective. Best Buy only gave me 16 days to return so I guess I got lucky it snowed when it did because I almost didn’t make it. If you buy from them I would be sure that you test it before the return window closes so you don’t have to deal with greenworks warranty.

Undersized and underpowered if you actually need to move snow (more than 1"). Only one (small) battery wont allow you do even clear 3" of snow on a residential sidewalk. Cheap construction.

Absolute garbage. Bought it and put together for the first snow. It would not blow the snow past 1 foot, it was useless. I returned it immediately. Do NOT buy unless you are looking for junk.

Noticeably light snow with low density can be harder to throw far. If the auger is not picking up enough snow, there will not be enough mass to propel it a long distance.
