Great snowblower! BBY package was a missing a bolt

The snow thrower looks great and worked great this morning. Seems like the box was opened before it came to me, because it did not look like factory packaged. and I'm missing one bolt that holds the chute controller; I contacted Greenworks, and they are sending me a spare bolt soon.

When the battery will not be in use, store it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. Store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we recommend charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Hello KaylaB. Thank you for sharing your experience. This shovel can throw snow as far as 30’. You can control the throwing distance by varying the angle of the shovel while pushing it, adjusting your pushing speed, and managing the amount of snow you scoop up at once; pushing at a shallower angle and with less snow will generally result in a shorter throw, while a steeper angle and a full scoop will throw snow further. Important considerations are the snow consistency and Terrain. Snow consistency. Different types of snow (powdery vs. wet) can affect how far it throws, so adjust your technique accordingly. Terrain. Uneven surfaces might impact the throwing distance, so be mindful of your path. We do not make a cover to lower the flow of the snow. We appreciate this suggestion and will pass it along. Awesome snowblower! Tried this on some very slushy snow and it threw just as far if not farther than my old stinky gas powered blower (your mother was a snowblower!). Impressive unit here, highly recommend!!

Worked ONCE! now I have a blinking red light and battery will not charge. I kept the charger dry and indoors. battery was removed from blower immediately after use and not just kept on the charger. To give minor positive note, the single time it did work, it did the job easily and as expected. Product is garbage now, support is impossible. I feel like I have thrown my money away.

Hello AndrewC - Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

Bought this on a day we were supposed to receive 8 inch. Took it home only to find out parts was missing. Returned the item within the same hour only to realize someone returned the same item for missing parts. So since there was no more in stock they allowed to get the parts needed. Once assembled I couldn’t get it to start. Big waste of time……Took it back.
