I walked into Best Buy and told the employee, "I need a lightning cable that wont slowly disintegrate like Apple's OR stop working after 3 weeks like every other third-party charger." The guy took me to the massive wall of lightning to USB cables and recommended Griffin beyond a shadow of a doubt. I'm so glad I bought this charger. It's been about a month and it's still working! The only con I have is that I didn't take into account the coiled chord, BUT it is the perfect length for car charging. GO GRIFFIN!

I like this product with one exception is that is advertised at 4 feet but the cable is so tightly coiled it only give you about 18 inches to work with.

I would recommend the cable for anyone that has an iPhone 5, 5c or 5s. It's cheaper than the manufacturers cable and works well both in the house and in the car.

Very sturdy and hopefully will last a long time. The others I compared to did not appear to be tough enough to survive in the construction world I live in.

It's way to short, I thought I was getting an average sized , at least long enough to be able to somehow view your calls when charging it , boy was I wrong. I have my usb charging port inside my hand rest compartment and it barely reached out of the box.. Do not buy unless you want it hidden and out of reach.

the concept of this cable is spot on because it stays organized on its own. cable is a little stuff however. overall good product

durable charging cordunlike the Apple cords that come with the device. additionally it coils so it can expand or it save space

Cord is probably too short when you're trying to talk on it, but great for keeping the car clean. Easy to hide.

I bought this after my apple cord ripped (which is very common with the newer ones) and it's very sturdy. The only downside is it doesn't stretch very far like other cords because of the tight coil. Overall very good cord and only a few dollars more than the apple replacement even though it's much better quality.

well built and works well, although the coils on the cord are so tightly wound that you could never leave it attached and make any type of phone call. Now if you don't want you device to go any further than a foot from where it is plugged in, then this would be your cord.

I like the value Griffin offers. Nicely designed, durable products at a decent price. I bought this to use in my car because non-coiled cables get in the way and caught on other things. The only problem right now is that it's so tightly coiled I have only 2' of usable length before it turns into a slingshot!

This is a high quality cable. The only draw back is it's a little short.

I bought this cord to be used in a vehicle. It works great, but could be a bit longer.

Charges my iPhone and iPad. Works like it's supposed to. Wish it was a little longer.

There isn't much to say about this cable. It does what it does, and it does it well enough. I specifically use this cable to connect my iPhone to my car inside the center console, and I needed a short cable to do so. This one works the best, although it's a bit thick. As a result, it tends to stay straight, but it works fine. I can't speak to how well it stretches as I don't use it that way.

I bought it to use it on the central console of my SUV, its quite stiff and not large enough to get it out of the glove ...so I got back to my old long cable and use this one at the office.. A larger version would be a better idea.

Good quality. Sturdy. I bought this cord because all the other cheap ones break.

This cord charges fast and is made well. The coiled cable is tight and doesn't like to stretch much. After two months of use it quit charging not sure why. Will be replacing with another, hopefully it will hold up better.

The cable has a very tight coil to it. It is difficult to extend it four feet.I don't think it will return to the original stressed out to far. I do like that it stays neatly connected to the phone while charing it.
