My mom uses a motorized scooter and has a bad habit of running over her charging cables. Also, the angle she holds them at, sometimes causes the connections to fray. This cable seems tough enough to handle her very heavy scooter rolling over it. The reinforced connectors don't bend in awkward ways, so fraying shouldn't be an issue. Highly recommended to anyone needing a tougher than usual cable

Every cord I purchase break's one way or another either the wires short out or the little metal thing gets loose and start's wobbling so it doesn't charge. But this cord is super tough and durable. It's made of this bendy material so the wires won't short out because it's been bent to many times. And the little metal plug is made of this really super string metal. I have actually accidentally ran over this cord with my car the other day and it's stI'll in perfect condition.

I bought this on a whim, as I lost a couple of usb cables to short circuits. I use this to charge my phone over night, which is also my alarm clock. So the big heavy phone sometimes gets knocked off its perch by a cat, etc. And this cable stands up to that kind of dropping or twisting, etc. It is more expensive, but it claims to last forever - at least compared to normal cables and it does seem to be tougher, stronger, etc.

My grandson needed a cell phone charge cord that would last longer than a couple of days. So far, this one has held up.

My elderly mother uses a scooter to get around and has run over and damaged a number of charging cables for her phone. This cable with its tough construction seems strong enough to survive getting run over by her scooter while its decent length would let her charge her devices.

I have a problme with cables fraying and not working almost immediately. I bought this cable in the hopes it would be different and it is! Right from the moment you pull it out of the box you can see that the quality is so much better and the base of the cable that hooks to the end where the phone is hooked up to is really reinforced. I am thinking it will be a while before this cable needs to be replaced. It is also a longer cable; 4' instead of the usual 3' cable I have purchased in the past. It is amazing how much more manueverability I have with an addtional foot of cable!

Apple cables and the like break down at the plug . This one has a nice stress relief. Looks like it will hold up nicely

Bought this cable on clearance, seemed like a pretty sturdy charging cable. I have been using it in my car for over a week with no issues. I looked for another at the Best Buy store but they were out. I would buy another cable like this and recommend it to my friends/family

Cable high quality and good value. Works will for my portable printer. Ends holding up to wear and tear that is part of field use of computer/printer combination.

As far as USB chargers go, this one is as durable as can be expected. I've used it a couple of weeks and no issues yet. Fingers crossed.

Normally the micro USB part of this charger breaks on most. This one is still working great.

On inexpensive hardware items like a USB cable, I always go with the cheapest price. It is just hardware and not technical.

No problems with this product so far. We purchased a few of them to replace ones our new puppy chewed up. So far, so good.
